2)Alloy was way ahead of everyone when it came to AE, hence 3 was a given.
3)The WL is harder then ever.

I think they are without question the greatest ever given what they have done. Now if the question was who the most dominant team ever, valhalla obviously is the runaway winner

Most dominant during their time period Valhalla

Hali is just phased out of the picture completely

Three teams have separated themselves from the rest. After that it just depends on what criteria you are going to use to judge the greatest of all time.

HHWC - 3-peat in modern sim with incredible parody. 1 other silver from appearance in the first season! Been demoted once.
Valhalla - 3 peat, 59-1 along the way. Most dominant team ever, hands down. Gutted after 3rd win. (could be seen as positive or negative). No demonstration of sustainability. Less parody.
Hali - Won first two WL titles when teams were much less familiar with each other and much less used to gameplanning every 2 days. Has been in the WL from the start and stayed in the World League for 8(?) seasons now.


In terms of relative to competition, I would say Valhalla, HHWC, Hali.

I can't decide on an order for most impressive accomplishments.

They won back to back titles and the first two ever. Even if you discount them surviving the demotion gauntlet for so long, you can't take away the impressiveness of those first two seasons. And despite what dpride would have you believe they haven't been irrelevant since. They finished as the first seed just last season. They lost in the first round, but on any given dotday anything can happen. A #1 seed as recent as two seasons ago is not a team that has dropped off completely.

The reason they were is the fact that Alloy was so far ahead of the curve on AE, MoD competed with them the first season when we had all of DD and DLDT together. Blaze competed with them when they played. At that stage in GLB there was no plateau so there was no a plethora of top dots in the WL.

agreed except for the 3rd part.

i'd put chocolate blaze at #3 ... they're the next most dominant team and have been for a while. they'd have more titles if not for HHWC and valhalla which are easily #1 and #2. hali is not phased out completely but is definitely #4. that's because they have the first 2 WL titles and have managed to stay in the WL since.

During those 60 games, they only played 3 regular season games and 3 playoff games that they didn't win by 15+ points. Their only loss was by 2 points.

NOW we can debate this. I didn't like everybody discussing our 3 peat compared to Valhalla before we actually completed it.

I pretty much agree with the majority here. I have a ton of respect for alloy and Valhalla. Him being ahead of the times doesn't take away from anything in my opinion. It adds to it. Him figuring shit out first as a leader is very impressive to me. That and they were dominant. You knew they would win. But I would agree the competition with the extended plateau is much more nowadays. I think MPHD, Blaze, and Moose are all WL champion quality.

A couple things to consider about HHWC and our WL history.....

Datongw is at least equal to w_alloy in my eyes if not the greatest ever. He was also ahead of everybody else along with the rest of the wangs. The problem 10 seasons ago was that we had too many teams. Datongw was the engine behind TKW and HHW in the WL together for 5 straight seasons. At one point TKW was the main focus and HHW was the secondary team. TKW has 46 WL wins and is coming back for more next season. You also have to consider me back then. Back then I was an agent of TKW and HHW with players there, meanwhile I had my own team, EWC, going up to WL and that was a big focus.

My point is that we kinda figured it all out late how to work together on one team. HHWC. If only we worried about one team earlier.

Anyways. There are a few teams that have an argument for GOAT. I'm just happy HHWC has a good argument now.
