Just created my first guy, didn't even get to finish selecting attributes, but I did take Fire Up.

Is my guy already gimped?

Just thought for a blitzer that can make big plays it would be useful but not so sure now.

Also, any other starting suggestions?

Change it IMMEDIATELY to 1st step. Then eventually max that. It will only cost you 2 BT so you are not gimped.
