In the Final Build of a DB, meaning CB, FS and SS, what is a good Attribute cap to reach in Strength?

I would suggest 60, but I have an agent disagreeing with me, saying that it is to high. Here is the build plan that I put together for the DB:

Speed to 86
Vision to 68
Agility to 68
Strength to 60
Jumping to 55
Tackling to 48
Confidence to 60
Stamina to 35

EDIT: EQ in Speed.

I would say 68 strength for a SS. 60 for FS & 48 for CB.

For a CB you need more jumping & more stamina, in fact all dots should have over 40 stamina

This is the build template for the DB. More to be added to the attributes later.

fyp. top dots in the defensive backfield are going to be looking at ~140 speed, and so you need far more than 40 stamina. most are going to be at 55+.

but i would tend to agree with everything else said. those are good benchmark numbers, but i would really almost consider them minimums. my CB, for example is going to have 60 strength, but i know many other builders that are going for ~50 with their CBs. from there it scales up with FS being next in line and SS probably needing the most strength.

What I've gained from this thread:
The average people invest in strength is way too low for DBs.

true, but you need way more tackling than 48 for any DB. There are ways to work around the strength part.

Like I asked in the OP, what is your take on a Final Build? These are just a "base" beginning. Of course the attributes will be higher before the dot is retired. I was just looking for feedback on Strength for DB's.

It's next to impossible to answer the question though because the answer depends on the system and how the DBs are used.

For instance, a CB playing CB #2 is typically going to need more strength than a CB playing CB #1 or CB #3. A FS that plays deep most of the time can get by with less strength and more tackling. A FS or SS that is played up close to the LOS and often has to take on FB blocks or pulling OL is going to need more strength.

What I've gained from this thread is that people still can't build for shit.
