Since I only get time to do stuff like this while at work, doing a playoff projection for the West now rather than after week #12.
My projections consider current boosting levels only, so if a team isn't boosted but plans on boosting, that might change things.
#1: San Antonio Saviours. They should go undefeated this season and secure the #1 seed easily. They might face some boosted teams, but their track record against boosted teams is very good.
#2: Final Thought. Though Ping wont have nearly as much time once his child is born, he team does well on minimal updates and should still finish the season strong. However, Ping usually doesn't boost, so he might struggle against boosted teams. Remaining schedule is CEP(W), Crib(W), DI(W), PNM(L), HHM(W), PNP(W). Key games are Crib, DI, PNP. Projected finish of 13-3.
#3: Pain Nation Midgets. Now that they are fully boosted, I don't see them loosing any more games, but Brigate & FT will be tough games. Projected finish of 12-4.
#4: Providence Nose Pickers. PNP is a good team of young coaches that is fully boosted, so they should finish the season strong. Remaining games are LB(W), 85'B(W), BNI(W), LP(W), UT(W), FT(L). Key games are 85'B, BNI, and FT. Projected finish of 11-5.
#5: Chicago 85'Bears. With a partial boost, my team should finish strong only struggling against fully boosted teams. Remaining schedule is HHM(W), PNP(L), LB(W), BSBR(W), BNI(W), LP(W). Key games are PNP & BNI. Projected finish is 11-5.
#6: Brigate Nere Italia. They have a good set of coaches and have proven themselves against some good teams. However, their minimal boosting will cause them to struggle against fully boosted teams. Remaining schedule is PNM(L), HHM(W), PNP(L), LB(W), 85'B(L), BSBR(W) and their key games are against PNM, PNP, and 85'B. Projected finish of 11-5.
There are 3 teams fighting for the #7-8 seeds and they are too evenly matched to call. Those teams are DI, Crib, & LSM. They do play each other a number of times, so it's just too tough to call, but it's likely 10+ wins will get them into the playoffs where 9 wins would be on the bubble. A full or partial boost by any of them would likely bump them into the playoffs. If no boosting happens, my vote would be #7 to DI and #8 to LSM due to their experience in Gold, sorry Crib.
Notes on remaining teams...
Lunch Box - even with the full boost, their play hasn't been very good and while the boost will help, I don't see them getting above 8-8.
Black Sea Buckeye Revolution - has several key players inactive due to the multi-account issue and that just killed their season. Would easily have been a playoff team otherwise.
Atlantic City Surf - they did fully boost, but they have a brutal schedule left and couldn't take advantage of the easier early schedule, so don't think things will change. They risk demotion if they don't pull of a couple upsets.
Loretto Panthers - just a disappointing season for the Panthers. They have a tough schedule left and face demotion unless they can pull off a couple upsets.
UT Pimps - didn't adapt well to the passing nerf this season and it cost them big. I don't see many winnable games remaining and they face demotion if they don't pull off a couple upsets.
Coastal Empire Pirates - sadly their return to gold provided fruitless and they will likely be demoted again.
