Seeing this a ton this season.

WR2 runs the wrong route should be an in.
WR2 was not #2 in the progression the HB was as evidenced by this play with the proper progression

Shouldn't be an "open": receiver issue as WR2 was covered and the next check the HB was uncovered. And why would he run a completely different route?

What play was this supposed to be so I can verify the routes?

What was your specified progression?

What was your QB's "Open Man - Route Distance" setting?

Have you run this play through the tester to determine if the call was exactly as it should be?
