for an o-lineman? both early in his career and late in a game. i have been leaving it to after i get str/blk/vis/agi up to caps, but i should i train it sooner? does is really make a difference (and if so, is the difference higher/lower if you are an younger player)? thanks!!

it's over-rated/changes every season...don't waste skill points until after you get vision/agility.

I disagree, see the 'I want a gold bar' threads.

There are lots of D-line builds where guys stack the morale/energy draining SA's and confidence will keep your dot from being affected by those. Depending on position I'd use the multi-training to have confidence & stamina keep pace with vision & agility once you get strength & blocking where you want them to be.

The morale system doesn't work at the moment. But when it does, if ever, you'll wish you had more confidence.

I can tell you this. I have recently been putting points into confidence for my OT and his effective level has shot up. That has to mean something.
