PLAYOFF RANKINGS - meant to put this up in the last predictions thread but better late than never. Post-round 1 rankings coming shortly.

The Sweet Sixteen
1 Sons of Anubis - Odds on favorites to take it all.
2 Canton - Franchise went undefeated but I like Canton's odds to represent Lion in the big one.
3 Franchise - Perfect seasons don't always lead to perfect playoff runs.
4 WWR - Lucked out in drawing the #2 seed and now they'll have to prep for a tough second round.
5 Fulham - Once I would never have doubted this team come playoff time. Tough road ahead.
6 BSS - Regardless of 1st round outcome they're stuck with SoA if they get that far.
7 ICB - Should be able to get by Guyana which will in all likelihood set them up against WWR.
8 CWE - Tough draw in the 1st round but this team is dangerous enough to make it to conference game.
9 San Francisco - Whooped on CWE in the regular season but can they do it again in the playoffs?
10 TDP - Played BSS tough last time so anything is possible.
11 TAP - A lot of improvement this season but they have a tough 1st round draw.
12 Guyana - Same thing I said for TAP applies here.
13 Sun City - This team has shocked me at times this season but I don't think they will this time out.
14 Massawa - Hard for me to see the Redhorns getting by Canton.
15 ABD - These last 2 teams really have no shot at upsetting the #1 seeds.
16 Philly - See ABD.

ROUND 2 PLAYOFF RANKINGS & PREDICTIONS

The Elite Eight
1 Sons of Anubis vs 6 BSS
Expected more dominance in the first round with ABD. They get BSS next and last time they played SoA took the game by 85 points. I'm not expecting that again but still don't see BSS competing very well here. The question BSS needs to ponder is whether SoA went with a vanilla scheme against ABD knowing it would take a lot of misfortune for them to lose that game or if ABD found a way to slow them down a little. Sons win by a large margin.

2 Canton vs 5 Fulham
Canton finished the season off with a thorough beatdown to Fulham. I think we'll see a closer matchup this time around and I still have some confidence in Fulham if they're putting their minds into the gameplanning. With Fulham closing down there are just too many variables in this one and I have to go with the impressive Canton team.

3 Franchise vs 8 San Francisco
Franchise took this one early in the season by a 70 point margin. The Demons have been one of my favorite teams the last 2 seasons but it's hard to see them closing that gap without some huge luck on their side.

4 WWR vs 7 ICB
Very solid matchup that saw ICB win the game during the regular season. This one could come down to the wire this time around and I expect a very close game that could swing in someone's favor thanks to a turnover. Going with ICB here since the Rhinos are destined to lose.

Thanks for the love but I think everyone at Canton will agree, we are not the top team. Franchise handed us our asses and are the clear front runner. We have to get by a very good Fish team to take another shot at the king.
