Actually if Smurfs win out they have a pretty good shot at making the playoffs - reasonable tiebreakers against the group, and they play Nairobi and probably end up knocking them out.

Nairobi/Smurfs game will most likely determine who's going home. Smurfs have good tie breakers against a lot of the teams at the bottom...another one over nairobi could sneak em in there.

Assuming that Arcade can beat Algoma, and HHWC will beat Masterminds, then there's only at most one 9-7 team missing the playoffs and possibly room for an 8-8 depending on how other games roll out. There's 10 teams in contention but if the Masterminds take a loss before their game with D9 then one of them is 8-8 at best.
Smurfs have decent tiebreaks I think.
Honestly given that Nairobi is last in the 8-6 teams right now they'd be the most likely to end last in the 9-7 ties. Depends on if Osaka falls into it and how it looks after Nairobi beats Arcade (which is required for a 9-7 to miss, otherwise Nairobi or Smurfs is 8-8 and out).

So...pretty much 1 win for Arcade/Masterminds/BDC, and 2 wins for Nairobi/Smurfs/D9 to lock a spot. Not 100% but pretty likely it'll shake out that way.

Osaka, Arcade, So Cal in.

Winners of D9-MM and Smurfs-Nairobi get in.

I don't think it's impossible for So Cal to miss the playoffs (I could be wrong). I think D9 and the Smurfs would have to win out though.....we have the head-to-head wins over D9, MM, Smurfs that will potentially come in handy. If we beat the Hedgehogs we are in for sure.

My predictions didn't take possible upsets into consideration. A Saigon or HHWC loss to a lower seed would make shit even more chaotic than it already is. As long as those teams hold serve, here's how I believe things shake out.

Arcade 10-6
Osaka 9-7
So Cal 9-7

Nairobi/ Smurfs winner 9-7 loser 8-8
D9/ Masterminds winner 9-7 loser 8-8

QCBC- sputtering down the stretch, but I can't see them dropping their final 2. 1-1 will get them in. (Cagliari, Gunny's)
Warsaw- should win out and 10-6 gets them in. (Emmaus, Stewart)
Carthage- if they can somehow mini helmet ESL they will get in. Otherwise, may need some help. (ESL, Village)
Semarang- if stern decides he wants to duck a certain team round 2 they get in. 1-1 could get in. (BDS, Blaze)
Cagliari- if they win out they can still be on outside from tiebreakers. (QCBC, Mayan)
Mayan- meh
Gunny's- LOL (QCBC, Indy)

If Warsaw, Carthage, Semarang, and Mayan all finish 10-6.... Warsaw, Carthage, and Semarang are in.

If Carthage, Semarang, Cagliari, and Mayan all finish 9-7... Cagliari and Carthage are in (H2H all 2-1, Mayan 0-3. Points Allowed)
