i bought my brand new team 2 days ago and when i try to submit my depth chart it goes to 414 Request-URI Too Large

Hey doobas, is there a way you can make this, or one of the 500 threads with the same question a sticky?

Definitely easily avoided by adjusting with an auto-reorder, but should we just consider it not a Bug?

If its broken and doing something silly or nonsensical aren't we better off fixing it?

I had the same problem when I got my new casual team this season. Auto Reorder fixed it, but it's still a bug.

yes but threads like this have been locked by Catch himself, by saying you get around it w/ auto-reorder. Classifying as not a bug due to precedent

This is a technical limitation - there is a limit to how many people you can have on the depth chart and submit it. Catch has already called this not a bug; it's "working as limited".
