Extra SA = First Step or Balance
Height = as short as possible
Weight = as heavy as possible
Take agility to 25 with your roll points and put the rest in blocking.
Save your initial 15 SP

* Intense or normal train agility until it is 28 or 29 with 90% to 99% trained. Cap at 48.5 at level 2.
* Train blocking on light and normal while spending all SP on agility until agility is 73. (Level 13)
* Save SP the rest of the season and keep training blocking.
* Boost at the end of the 1st season.
* Train blocking to a point it can be capped with 15 or 20 SP and sandbag training at 90% to 99%. Cap by level 16.
* Train strength on light while spending all SP on blocking until blocking is 74 (Level 28ish)
* Train up blocking and agility to take advantage of the sandbagged training.
* Cap strength when you can and spend all SP on it until it is 77
* Multi-train speed, stamina, vision and confidence. We may want to take speed to 74 but 69 should be the minimum.
* EQ should all go into strength.
* Work on SAs

Basically the only thing that changes for linemen are the SA choices at the end because the archetypes are the same.

So you want him to cap AGi then Blocking then Strength? It seems like you are assuming he will be facing Pass Rush DTs his entire career. Even then most will have at least 100+ strength with eq before he evn puts an SP into Strength. I just dont understand why you go AGI first.

Nope if he reaches level 72 he should have 125+ strength. Agility is first for the ALGs. Reaching 90 agility is the main goal for a pass blocker imo. Of course I could be wrong.

RGR that man. Its a good idea ill say that. Just wondering if the ALGs from strength would allow him (if 72 is the goal) to attend to that early and work agility later. Getting a block broken isnt the end of the play, getting revcaked off the snap might be. But I do think that is a sound build strategy. He just might lose patience when strength based DTs are placing him on his arse for quite a while.

I would suggest going with the run archetype and just putting some equipment on Agility to get it to 90. Without adding strength early on, you are going to get revcaked into oblivion.

I agree on First Step or Balance as the extra SA. Absorb Pain might be an option too if morale is changed.

If you're putting equipment into Agility anyway, which is basically necessary these days for the typical STR-focused build, there's not much difference between doing that and just boosting Agility higher to begin with. Your base STR is a little lower but you'll put back into it with the equipment no longer going toward Agility. Ultimately, the only difference that makes is that your first attribute boosted (Run archetype + STR first or Pass archetype + AGI first) will have a slightly higher base, so you'll squeeze something like an extra .5 out of their respective attribute VA. Big deal. :/

Archetype also determines which SAs get boosted/penalized, which is about the only relevant difference between the two. Meh...
