Warrior General Games

I am in a NFL pick-em with a pretty big prize pool (I think around $2000) with some friends... I wanna take this one home so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Rules of the survivor league are you can't pick the same team twice other than that anything else goes.

My picks by week:
Week 1: Titans over Oakland
-my thoughts: I want to go ahead and get the Titans out of the way do to QB issues...Other choices I was thinking are Chargers over KC...maybe Bucs over Browns
What are your thoughts?

I chose the Titans for the same reason you did.

Safest pick IMO as there is no way you pick the Titans after week 1.

i wouldnt be so sure of tennessee though...oakland can play D...i wouldnt say its a lock tenn wins...i like San Fran here as well...Seattle isnt looking good this year

This. I gave the same advice to some guys at work in a pool. It's a tough week otherwise.

TN will be a lot better this year could even make a playoff push so watch out thinking you are going to pick against them...... I'd pick them this week at home west coast teams always have issues travelling across the country........

Funny thing is I am in a similar pool and had the same dilemma... whats funnier is i decided exactly this. My first choice was NO but two days ago i decided that I would need them at a later date even though i thought they were one of the biggest locks of the week.

I considered Chicago over Detroit or Miami over Buffalo...i choose to go with Miami but i think Chicago was the better bet b/c they're home

I went Tenn also. This early you never know who is going to be a suprise so I try not to take too big of risk and always choose home teams. (I won't be completely shocked if Detroit beats Chicago)

I actually have season tickets to the titans games so I am hoping I am wrong about them being a iffy team this season.

I went with 49ers in mine.

But Tenn over Oak was the most picked game in that league.
