Game[s] of the week.

Eurotrash VS. West Country Wyverns
-West Country always comes to play, and is not a pushover for any team. I still see them struggling against Euro's tough defense.
-Eurotrash by 14

PGL Gamers VS. Bonn Dynamo
-PGL is playing some good football for the moment. This is their chance to step up and beat a solid team. Will they keep their streak alive? Hell no!!!! Bonn will take this one, and prove they are still in the mix among alpha's top teams.

Even though this is the alpha thread, no one ever makes zeta threads so I figure the Berlin v. Inverness game is going to be great too.

Inverness has a really tough stretch of games here. If they can survive it with just a loss or two then they'll be set for a real high seed in the playoffs.

Ted, when you post your game of the week threads could you include all of the matchups? When you do it the day of the previous game the only way we have to see the full slate of games is to hunt and peck around the team profiles until you see them all. Maybe if you're already doing that you could include in your post the Matchup screen links? Not a criticism, just an idea. Maybe then we could post our winners and predicted spreads?

The league home shows the next week games 24 hours before the games... I do believe...

Ok....I'm going to do the game of the week, and two notables for every game day. I think that will give us plenty to talk about.

That is correct and will be another good game. Although I did hear a rumor that Paris Colonels were bragging that they were going to walk all over us and we are using it for locker room material. Ok so it was just a rumor and trying to stir the pot a little bit.

Inverness vs Ballers is going to be a real good game as both are very strong teams. I have to give the edge to Inverness though.

Recaps:

Eurotrash beats West Country Wyverns 15-3

-Couldn't have predicted the outcome any better. West Country had one promising drive that ended with a 23 yard FG. It would be the first score of the game, and West Country's last time putting any points on the board. The rest of the game consisted of Euro's defense shutting down the Wyverns' offense, and Euro's offense kicking field goals until the final whistle. In all, a boring game, but good tough win for Eurotrash.

Bonn Dynamo beats PGL Gamers 40-0

-Bonn gets back on track in dominating fashion against a game PGL team. I'm not really going to go too deep on this one. Bonn just overwhelmed them on every aspect of the game. Great needed win for Bonn.

Yeah Ted, you pretty much nailed the predictions this week. It was a much needed confidence booster to see Bonn play so well against a tougher team.

It was difficult to swallow, but I think we're starting to dig our feet in the dirt and prepping to push back.
