Gotta get 'em in before sims start, lol. Sorry for the lateness.
W3: 15-1
W4: 11-5
Week Five!!!
DotA over Sea Wasps 42-24
DotA pulled an impressive upset last week, and the Sea Wasps aren't real big on defense.
CSII over Parma 64-28
Poor Parma.
Kai over So Cal 52-21
So Cal was upset by LOL last week, and now looks to steal a win to stay on the playoff track. Won't be easy going up against a Kai team who have looked very strong since a W1 stumble versus Moose Jaw.
D9 over QCBC 58-36
Queen City salvaged their early season by knocking off Mayan, and while the Prawns have looked like one of the game's top teams thus far they're certainly beatable. I think hte Prawns prevail, but Queen City won't take the beating lying down.
Hounds over Sin City 30-16
Both strong defensive teams, but Sin City losing to DotA hurt their playoff hopes. Still, the Assassins look to try and shut down the Hounds in what should be a defensive battle.
HHWC over Mayan 64-43
Alpha's GOTW--two explosive, unpredictable teams face off in what's sure to be a display of fireworks. I'm picking HHWC because Mayan's been so inconsistant (beating Blaze and losing to QCBC?), but that same streakiness makes Mayan dangerous--if they have a good day they can take down anyone in the game.
Smurfs over LOL 41-28
LOL is looking stronger after a statement win over So Cal, and they could be a dangerous team. The Smurfs are a similarly unpredictable team to Mayan--less explosive but better defensively. I see the Smurfs winning based on age, but LOL should give them a relatively close game that could be decided by a key turnover.
Lincoln over Korb 43-10
Korb hasn't shown much offense lately--should be a good opportunity for Lincoln to recover from a stinging loss to CMC.
Russian over Monowi 31-27
lolSunshineAI
Alpine over CMC 56-35
Carthage pulled off an impressive victory versus Lincoln last week, and Alpine has struggled through a tough early season schedule. However, they might be one of the most talented teams in the game, and I think people are underestimating them. Definitely a game to watch.
Osaka over Krungthep 62-9
Krungthep is struggling, and Osaka is p good at dotball.
Cincy over Carthage 37-24
Moose Jaw has had to deal with two close losses, but they have excellent coordinators and enough talent to take down anybody (see Kai, Cobra). They're good enough to keep it very close, but Cincy is very strong this year, and I don't see them losing this week.
Gunny's over Feebs 102-14
Sorry, Feebs.
Whores over Blaze 63-42
GOTW. I think Saigon is the best team in GLB right now--while the Blaze may have a hell of an offense, I think Saigon's playmaking defense will probably win them the game. Could obviously go either way, but my money's on the Whores.
Indy over Speyside 37-35
Would be GOTW if not for Blaze-Whores. Two top teams squaring off.
Let's see how I do.
