This tourney is being built for the best 32 teams in GLB, 8 teams have been invited so far and of those 8 team if you owners want to throw some ideas out there to make it a better tourney please do, but Im thinking we take the top 16 teams in WL and the top 2 in each region that promotes to WL to finish off the 32. 1-3rd will get a trophy for sure and be considered the best of the best. Im still debating on how to set up the seeding probably each of the top 8 WL teams will play the 8 teams from the regions that lost, then the lower 8 WL teams will play the gold trophy teams from the regions. Any kind of help or suggestions will be welcomed, if someone has a better rankings system to follow for seeding I'd be willing to go by it. I just want to make it the best of the best tourney that we can get out of the way pretty quick with single elimination style setup. Shoot some ideas out guys.

oh and if one of the 8 teams that was invited decides to become turds and not make the playoffs you'll have to step down and let someone else in. But I dont expect any of the 8 teams to fall apart.

So you're setting up a tournament that will (ideally) contain the exact 32 teams that will naturally compete in the World League in the following season?

well, probably not, I dont expect everyone to participate. Help me figure out a better way other then just picking the teams myself which was my first thoughts.

Umm... I thought this is what the WL was for?

when u put it that way it sounds kinda boring, I guess I could leave the top WL teams out. That'd make it more interesting, do the demoted teams and the teams that lost in the regions semi finals.

I don't expect anyone to participate.

I'd watch Demoted Teams vs Newly Promoted teams, mbe.

If you're going to do anything with "top" teams, you should base it on NiborRis' rankings from the prior season.
