So here we go after 2 games, the official Top 10 which is going to be all over the place until at least 8 games are played. Some early surprises this season with many more to follow as APL seems to be very well rounded yet again this season....
1) Nairobi Warthogs - Warthogs come back to APL as advertised, loaded and ready to make the leap back to the WL. All they have done is rattle off 192 points in 2 games! Good luck to anybody in Elephant who gets in this teams way.
2) Sons of Anubis - The team that is always in the thick of it and could be poised to give Nairobi a run for their money this season. Always a stout defense, now they look to have an offense as they too have gone over the 190 points scored mark in 2 games.
3) Fulham Flying Hellfish - I am going to give the early nod to the Fish in Lion as they have come out of the gates with a nice 2-0 start. Lion has some top notch talent at the top so the Fish will need to stay sharp if they want to keep this ranking.
4) Carthaginian War Elephants - Are there any dogs in the house! Woof, woof...Any team with Sully on it is going to have some top builds and are always a threat to beat anybody they play.
5) The Dead Presidents - I say this team has one of the strongest D's in the league and that should carry over from last season. Sleep on this team and it is lights out for sure. They boast the best overall ranking on the script for whatever that is worth...
6) Franchise - Bullied their way through Lion last season and nothing really looks to change this season. Suffered an early season loss which could be due to chemistry or maybe the Lion conference has just caught up to them. Either way, this team needs to live up to some very high expectations.
7) Wallachia Wamphyri - I have to admit, I don't know much about the W squared but I will show some love to the Lion and let the W earn the right to stay at the top of the rankings.
8) The African Predators - Nodody wants a pouty King so here you go, a seat at the table for however long you decide to stay undefeated. Nairobi should tell much about this team.
9) Cagliari Outbreak - Impressive win over Steve and the Rhino's to kick off the season. Back to back tough matchups with the Fish and Tanks should determine which way this ranking goes.
10) ILB - Intentionally Left Blank to see who wants a seat at the head table. There are few teams that are peaking through the glass and others who are trying to find a way through the back door, my advice, if you want to come to the dance then prove yourself....
Good luck to the teams, this is shaping up to be another great season....
