Week 2: 7-1
Week 3: 6-2
Season: 13-3
I had two teams have the nerve to prove me wrong last week! HOW DARE THEM!!!!! Let's see what teams are man enough to step up to do it this week...
Game of the Week
Warsaw Knuckleheads at Transylvania Bloodsuckers
This week features 2 2-1 teams facing each other in what should be a great matchup of two strong offenses. Bloodsuckers' lone loss was to Amsterdam in week 1 facing a huge level disparity. Warsaw's only loss came to South Yorkshire last week. Suckers have been rolling ever since, and Warsaw will be looking to bounce back after a tough loss. It looks to me like the progress of the Suckers has been just a bit more accellerated than Warsaw. I think the matchups they have in a few key skill positions will prove to be very effective in this matchup. The Warsaw D has shown vulnerability against a talented offense, and I look for Tran to capitalize on that.
Kilkenny Cannibals at Ithaca Space Munkees
Cannibals have the favorable matchup at basically every position in the field. This team is better than some teams who have logged a win, and they will find their first win this week in a very convincing fashion.
Grim Reapers at Oklahoma (U.S.A.) Outlaws
Reapers were one of those jackasses to prove me wrong last week, so this is how i repay them.
Prove me wrong again this week, I dare you! lol. But seriously... Like I said after game 1... Reapers are a contendor in this league. And the Outlaws are making steps in the right direction--they're on their way--But they aren't there yet. Reapers win this one. Don't expect it to be a 1 posession game.
Dublin Drunken Monkeys at St. Louis Storm
St.L is bring the highest lvl RB in the league to the field, and it's all a a matter of how well the D-Monks can handle him. I think their higher degree of completeness will prove to be the difference. No talent spikes. So i think Dublin pulls of another W against a very quality opponent.
London Chiefs at Amsterdam Artic Blast
The Blast is coming off a surprising loss, and it seems they were upset by it. They have brought it some new guns to add to the roster... They will win this game purely off lvl advantage. No amount of tactical planning in GLB could make for the attribute disparity in this one. Sorry, London... no offense; I just call it like I see it.
Belfast Mafia at Wrexham Maelor Brionnfhionn
Belfast beat the team at the top of the totem pole last week with their victory over Amsterdam. I can't in good faith pick against a team coming off a win like that. So nothing against Wrexham , but I have to give this one to Belfast until someone can stop their march.
Basin City Blues at Vatra Dornei Wraiths
I told this forum the Blues were a legit team, and they took up for my comments with a W last week. I think they continue that run in Game 4. They got those 2 losses under their belt and pushed to the back of their minds. The Wraiths are no cupcake, though... so if I am naming the trademark "Hard to call" pick of the week... this one is it. Wraiths could easily be one of the ones to make a liar out of me this time... But it's on them to get a good gameplan for it.
South Yorkshire Stars at Crimson and Cream Sooner Machine
Stars are coming off a very commanding shutout victory over the then league-leading offense.. and have allowed less than 25 rushing yards on the season. It's hard to pick agaist that... especially against a defense still fielding CPU players. So I see the Stars winning this one big...

There ya go, folks! Let the discussion begin! Why am I wrong? Who will poin tout t ome my incorrect picks? Feel free! Let's give those Zeta peeps something to envy.
Good luck to all teams in Game 4!
