All right, I'm kind of happy I went 5 for 7 on my game 3 predictions... some of them were obvious though. I would have gone more in-depth but I realized if I gave away what teams do in each of their games people may just base their gameplans around this instead of studying the other team for themselves.
Oum-Chalouba Zebras at Zimbabwe Headhunters
The Zebras arguably have the toughest start out of all the teams in the Lion Conference facing 4 of the best teams in their first 4 games. They've only scored 3 points in their past 3 games and I have a feeling they'll lose this one to the #1 ranked Headhunters even if they have two studs at RB and DT.
Final score in favor of the Headhunters 6-20.
Valla Beach Woolsheds at Zambia Lions
Both teams are very good teams. I would like to see the Lions lose for obvious reasons but I have a feeling they will pull this one off. I like how it will be a dominant front 7 from the Woolsheds against the tremendous O-line the Lions have.
Final score with the Lions on top 14-23, prove me wrong Woolsheds.
South African Ridgebacks at Niger Mambas
I doubted the Ridgebacks in my previous prediction and I think I will side with them in this game. Both teams have a balanced offense and defense without any players that stand out too much. I think the deciding factor will be how well the Ridgebacks D will play, which they have been playing outstanding, and the Ridgebacks running game.
Final score Ridgebacks 14 Mambas 10.
Carthaginian Horde at Mombasa Spears
I thought the Spears would win their game against the Ridgebacks but they were shutout 0-6. I'm still going with them in this one because they aren't facing a good team. The Horde have a lot of players level 10 or below while the Spears have a lot of their players levels in their mid teens. Still it does not mean the Horde aren't going to put up a fight and I think this will be a closer game than you'd think.
Mombasa with the win 13-16.
Cape Town Billievers at Calumet Wolverines
The Cape Town Billievers are second behind the Zebras in having the toughest scheduled start in the Lion Conference. The thing is though, they have faired better than the Zebras in having close games against all those good teams. I'll take the Wolverines side on this game as they have one of the most balanced teams in the league and had defeated the Ridgebacks, who are pretty good themselves, 36-0.
Wolverines will believe more in a 9-27 win.
Nairobi Warthogs at Madagascar Mobsters
I said the Mobsters would lose last time and they did. This time I'll say they win and they will. I don't think any team should lose to the Warthogs unless they get a roster overhaul as they don't have very many playmakers. Sorry Warthogs but this is your loss.
The Mobsters will score and win in this one 6-31.
Windhoek White Rhinos at Malawi Pride
Last time I said Pride would win and they lost although I did say it was a coin toss... with the White Rhinos I said they'd win and they got it. I'm going to go with the Rhinos again as they start winning and get back into playoff contention. The White Rhinos have a few high leveled players while the rest are balanced above 10. The Pride are just overall balanced everywhere but their highest level player is only 13 at RB. I know it isn't just all about the levels but whoever has the better gameplan in this one will get the win.
Rhinos take the win 13-7.
Good luck everyone on game 4 and somebody go out there and prove me wrong
