Issue:
In have bought and built a piece of equipment in the store. As bonus ability I chose the SA Power Through. I also chose 4 regular upgrades (not enhanced attribute bonus) and put the upgrades in carrying. To my surprise the Power Through bonus SA only increased by 1 SA point.

I tried again a couple of days later, buying another piece of equipment by applying the same actions. Only exception was that I upgraded the equipment 5 times instead of 4. Result: Still 1 bonus point i Power Through (see screen shot)

I have spent a bunch of Bonus Tokens on this maneuvre and as far as I can see I have effectively lost them. Instead of getting 5 points in Power Through (2 from the +4 upgraded piece and 3 from the +5 upgraded piece) I only have 2 points. Of course, I can just sell the equipment and try again (risking the same outcome) but this will make my player much less competitive than equals with double the amount of bonus tokens.

Yes. I have a %-piece that upgrades the way it should. It should be visible in the screen shot

Hi Martin,

Couple of things to test, firstly, are you getting awarded the extra points in Power Thru on your player's page (i.e a problem with the EQ page, but not actually the EQ)

Secondly, could you try removing and then re-equipping both pieces of EQ and see if that helps at all?

Thanks for trying those things, it looks like there's definitely something buggy going on, I'm not sure whether we can deal with it (maybe the underlying causes) or Support deal with it.

What I reckon is the thing to do is if you put in a support request with similar details as here, they should be able to edit the pieces to give the correct amounts.

I'll also post this as LIKELY A BUG, because something has gone wrong behind, and maybe Catch can take a look at what's going wrong.

Main thing is not to worry, as you should either get the BTs back that you spent, or the EQ pieces will be fixed to get the proper SA boosts.

I wish i could find the old bug... there was a bug of some guy that this happened to with a % piece.

Definitely buggy behavior, however, you should only have +4 (instead of +5) to Power Through. You wouldn't get a +3 on the second piece until 6 upgrades were done.

BUG - FIRST VERIFICATION

Edit: Unless you were also considering the +1 from the AEQ tree boost.

I know exactly what you mean, I can't find it either...

I think its a bit too early to send up. Firstly, is it something we can replicate?

Replicating this on the live server would be a pain in the butt. You'd need an HB that was at least lvl 16, then enough BTs to build a power through AEQ and upgrade it twice. Would take a season and a half to build a player up to that point.

I think we do need to see if this is happening (or not) to other players before we can send this up. If it's just this single player, then we need to get a support ticket sent in for him to fix his player's EQ (we may need to do that anyways). If it's consistent to all players trying to put Power Through on AEQ when building AEQ, then we've got a code bug. I'd be surprised if no one else was using Power Through on AEQ, but I suppose it's possible most players who have Power Through have bought it instead of building it? I don't know anyone personally who has built Power Through AEQ.

Either way, I'd encourage a support ticket for this one. His BTs need to get fixed.

i'd love to give this a second verification and send it off, but so many people upgrade EQ successfully that it would be near impossible to tell the difference as to what made this happen.
