Once my players hit Day 401 and they weren't going to be able to get to level 72, I finished up all of my upgrades and have been using my extra BTs to buy SPs because I was done my equipment.

Now you are telling me:

a) My players will be able to hit level 72
b) I am not going to have any BTs
c) I am going to enter extended plateau with no opportunity to earn BTs for another 3 seasons.

If you were even CONSIDERING the ability to add boosts to get to level 72, you should have been telling us this. Instead we were doing the best thing for our dots and are now going to get screwed as a result.

Do you have a solution for us, or am I just going to be stuck without my level 72 equipment?

might as well just lest us train for the next 3 season then. I mean aside from Brett Farve what 10 year + verteran do you know that doesnt train anyway.

I don't know how to fix it. Bort doesn't track what we spend our SP on or when we do it, so I don't know if they can even offer to reset our BT to SP spending. Perhaps give us a one time chance to convert the boosting SP into BTs or something, but I'm sure that could be exploited... but without giving us a chance to plan for this, I don't know if they have a better solution.

See, but then the first year plateau will always be ahead of the rest of the plateau, and we were trying to avoid this.

The extended plateau announcement was made on the 6/24. The boost to 72 serious discussion started after that and was announced today, 7/9,15 days later. This isn't something they have been planning since season 9 and just decided to not tell anyone.

Obviously. But every time we spent BTs for SPs we were losing half an upgrade. If this was something that they were seriously considering, they should have told us. As shown in my OP, there are serious consequences for level 68 players who are now going to be playing without fully upgraded AEQ.

Training on light, it shouldn't take long to make up the BT to boost AEQ at 72. It might be harder to upgrade 4, but 2 should be no problem. Starting now we probably have nearly 25 training days before next season.

I understand your frustrations, even if I don't have a player being affected by the change. IMO, I'm glad nothing was mentioned prior to the official announcement. Just think, if they mentioned they were considering it on day 10, everyone would have changed to stockpile BTs instead of converting them to SP. What if today's message was that they have abandoned the idea and added it to the NGHL? People would be up in arms that they could have used the BT to convert to SP to help them win more games. It's a catch-22 (no pun intended) no matter how they decided to go, someone will be negatively impacted. I would much rather hear about what IS going to happen rather than a bunch of 'not going to happen' announcements.

They are turning off training on season rollover. So we have 2 days to day 40 (I'm assuming most people auto-trained overnight) and then maybe 10-12 days max before rollover.

42 BTs is the maximum... more likely we are going to get 36 BTs between now and then. Not enough to upgrade two pieces.

Obviously, but we are talking about 15 days = 30 TP = 45 BTs = 3.75 SP or almost two AEQ upgrades... Which you do think is going to help more? Those 3 SPs aren't going to make a big difference at level 68. 2 AEQ upgrades on the otherhand will.

But now that it is so late, are they going to handicap us or are they going to help us? The point of the extended plateau was that people who got there first weren't supposed to have an advantage over the people who got there later.

Now we have the reverse happening: people who got there first are going to be playing at a disadvantage for three seasons. They are keeping half decline, and they won't be prepared for the level 72 equipment.

I wasn't planning on retiring... I'm about to get three seasons of extended plateau.

Training in real life is to keep your skills and physical abilities from deteriorating once you're that experienced. GLB training isn't the same as real life training.
