SanDiego is glad to be past the brutal 2-game start to their season. Didn't think we'd make it out of that one alive we are all pretty shocked lol

I'm looking forward to this week's games.
It looks to me like there are some excellent matchups in the East, where I'm expecting several close games. Slashers/Wolves and Wolfpack/Fury (both battles of unbeatens), Bullitt/Red Celtics, and our own game, Villagers/Lizard Lickers, all look like good ones to me. Vanguards/Badgers should be interesting, too.
Honestly, the games out West look a little less competitive to me this week, although I am interested in seeing Horde/Assault, Strikers/Elves, and Bugeaters/Grave Diggers.

I think that there is quite a bit of parity in the East, at least among potential playoff teams. Fury/Wolfpack is going to be a great game. I'm not sure which of us will come out with the win (since on paper we're a bit better, but the guy who controls the Wolfpack usually is on the ball as far as game planning).
The most interesting three matchups (outside of our game) look to be:
PTT Villagers @ Lizard Lickers - The Lickers may be at .500 but they are a very solid team. PTT Villagers look like a potentially dominant team, but the Sconnie Badgers gave them a run for their money last week, losing by less than a field goal. This is a matchup between two playoff teams and it should be a good one.
My pick: Lizard Lickers in a 15-14 upset.
Death Valley Grave Diggers @ Huskers Illustrated Bugeaters - The Bugeaters have talked a lot of smack but have yet to face a defense as dangerous as Death Valley. They may be at .500, but only lost against San Diego Demolition by 1 point. This is a very dangerous team and a great matchup.
My pick: The Grave Diggers bury the Bugeaters, 27-16
Viridian Vanguards @ Sconnie Badgers - The undefeated Viridian meets the winless Sconnie Badgers. The Badgers have a terrible record but really are a good team that has had a very hard schedule. They go up against yet another tough team. Viridian has had two impressive victories against unimpressive teams. This is their first real test.
My pick: Vanguards, 20-16

This is the first time someone has ever predicted the Bugeaters to lose a game from as much as I can remember. I am not saying this is a terrible pick either this game is diffently going to be difficult.

I'll also predict at least one loss between the back to back games against the Richey Royals and San Diego Demolition, if I make predictions that is. I don't see any team running the table in the West this season.
In the East, I'd say the same thing. We might have a couple 15-1 teams, but the competition is too tough to have a perfect season without one mishap.
As the saying goes in GLB, "Any given every-other-day."

Ya last year we lost to a team we should never have lost to. I am not sure what happened but after that we were pretty unstoppable.

Big day for all the new teams! Villagers, Bugeaters, and Badgers all knock off quality teams.
Doesn't look like any of them were easy victories.

The guesse and chek method to foigure out tactics while the season is going isnt such a great idea, we definately went the wrong route, but chemistry sucks for us im sure that didnt help either. Thank god most the teams in the league have a loss, we arent down much at all. Still stunned.

Good game (should I say Wolfpack? I'm not sure if it is correct to address an individual as a wolfpack). You had our number today.
Oh, and as an aside, thanks for supporting GLB.
