Seems like a less dishonorable act than in seasons past with the extended decline. Especially for a super young team

The (still weak) argument for declining in the past was that you only had a small window to be at your best, and if you promoted to WL a year too early, you'd be back down in the pros at your peak. Now that you can plateau longer there's no reason to decline. If you demote then you can still get back and compete later.

It's a moot point as if you win silver in a pro league you'll get promoted regardless.

Bort won't allow a team to refuse decline. I wanted to refuse last year but Bort and Catch said from now on decline is not an option unless you are gutting.

Ya Lincoln went young this season and nearly felt the pain of heading back to USA...its nice to see the team getting better as time goes on tho...don't think that would work out as well next season and beyond considering the plateau.

Can we retroactively decline participation in WL after we've swept their collective legs this season? I want to go back to SLAP where the people are more entertaining.

in some cases it seems to make more sense to allow a 3rd place team come up instead of a 2nd place team from a different region. Just sayin....sometimes regions suck and the winners of the pro leagues would lose by a ton in the WL. Dont let OPL send up 2 teams and take an extra SLAP team instead
