Good Morning Gerr. Let's have a chat you and I.

In my opinion, rage-quiting is paramount to throwing a temper tantrum and is very immature. Or if that isn't enough and you want to quit, have some respect for the other teams in the league and finish out the season and quit GLB in the off season when it doesn't affect other teams.
I've been doing this alone for a very long time, and we all know that I am not making any big changes from game to game anyway. My AI is saved, my players are still being trained and SP is still being assigned. Quite frankly I could give the bears a run for their money as a CPU team. Please don't try and educate me about Pee Wee respect, and don't try and compare me to a child. My team was done at the end of this season, at least I have enough respect to go CPU prior to the shuffle, so at least the DI aren't going to be floating in Gold next season as a CPU team.

People forget that GLB is NOTHING more than a business for Bort and crew and they will make decisions that will gain them the most money, PERIOD!. I have seen this in every MMO I have been in, and GLB is no different. They will take more notice if people publicity quit and provide a lot of good reasons for their decision rather than just rage-quit.
This is a business for Bort and crew, and it is just a game. A game that I have spent more than 1500 bucks on. I didn't ragequit and leave without telling people why. I left a laundry list of items in Catch 22's private forum. Things that I have been asking to be fixed for a long time. Which brings up this:

And something to think about is that what is broken this season might just be fixed next season. But until things are fixed, you have to deal with the problems and adapt. Pouting because the sim isn't working and you think it should is juvenile. I also think ego's play a part in this and people who are used to winning might make some mistakes due to recent changes and are suddenly not as good and just can't handle it. GROW UP! Change is part of life and you need to adapt.
Things will not be fixed next season. They have already stated that the only implementations for the next season are coaches and GLB for the iPhone. As far as Bort and Catch are concerned, this game is almost out of beta and is looking good. And just because you have gotten better at tricking your dots to be in the right place at the right time, doesn't mean that the sim is working.
As to egos, you need to look at my 8 season Pee Wee career. I've won ONE trophy. I'm not exactly 'used' to winning as you suggest. I made a decision to sell my team and now you are the one sounding like a child. I'm tired of this game (And it is just a game), and after 8 seasons of waiting for things to get better, I'm just not going to waste any more time trying to trick my dots to be in the right places.

Never said there isn't anything wrong with GLB or that people shouldn't take action, but rage-quitting is not the mature way to go about it.
Just like many of you, I have spent a fair amount of money on this game. Even if things make a big turn for the worse, I won't get that money back, so why rage quit? Instead, protest for change by staying active in the game, but not spend any more money. Or if you are just tired of it, set your team to auto-pilot and ride out the season and quit in the off season. There are several other better options than to rage quit that make your feelings known and that don't screw with other people/teams in Gold.
Protesting is for hippies. I've made my changes in the world of Pee Wee. If you don't believe me, ask yourself what league you are in. Pee Wee Gold was something that came about because of my idea, and my effort in pushing people to get on board.
Leaving at the end of the season when everyone else is talking about leaving isn't going to make any more impact, and will likely make a lot less. I'm not going to start a union, I'm not going to push people to stop spending their money until change is effected, because I've seen what comes of these pushes. How many of you are non-boost, non-custom this season? Raise of hands. How many of you are no level 8 tree on any of your players? Don't try and act like I was going to be the catalyst for some big change. I leave for Europe in a month and then I start school. I don't have the time and energy to try and push for more changes.
How many of you got on board when two season's ago I pushed for making field goals an actual option in Pee Wee (or alternatively allowing us to punt from within the 30)? When I was talking about how ever since the zone nerf came around that Pee Wee players can barely make use of the zones, how many people said that this was a change that mattered?
Then when Pee Wee silvers got shuffled, and when the whole community raised their voices, what was the reply from Bort? "Working as intended. What makes you think that a Copper team won't be able to succeed as well as a Silver team?"
How about 8 seasons of owning a team in Pee Wee and having Pee Wee players since season 7?
Gerr, don't try and educate me on my duties and responsibilities like somehow you have actually done anything for the Pee Wee community.
