i agree. they gave out too many teams, and now the major leagues AA and AAA are all thinned out. there are only about 5 or 6 good games per season. they need to figure out how to make games more variable. so that the top teams are 12-4/11-5 and the bottom 4-12 etc. like real football. it sucks always having the one team that no one can beat. it crushes your playoff dreams before the season even starts. stats are fun, but after 3 255-0 games in a row, it is super boring. maybe they should scrap the rivalry thing and balance the teams right before the preseason, using effective lvl or something. just my opinion

It's kinda hard to beat you fools when you out-level us across the board!

Were you guys in AA last season as well?

We recruited for lvl46, but got moved up to AA

We were lvl 46 last season. we should have been AA, but we played in an elite league for lvl 42 and got roughed up by all the slow built teams (by roughed up I mean 6-10).

We were in the Elite lvl 32 league and finished 6-10 as well, so we got to play in a "competitive" lvl 42 league and finished 14-2. So we missed lvl 46 completely

i agree pretty much if you dont have a slow-built team you get into a three year cycle (barring you go out and sign super FA's every offseason). to start yr one is usually a losing season. 4-12/7-9. then your second season, because of only moving up one cap (due to missing the playoffs), your team will excel, and go 12-4/14-2. this is your chance to win it. but somehow there always seams to be one super slow built team that creeps into the league and goes 16-0 and kills everyone. rendering the season hopeless for a title, but thats another story. then the third year you get into a league where you still have no shot at title because of 3 or 4 SSB teams, and yet go 8-8/10-6 and make the playoffs, only to meet a goliath in round one. then because you were a borderline playoff team you still get moved up two caps. but since you were already outclassed the previous season you are in trouble again. this leads to another 4-12/6-10 yr and the cycle begins again. once in a while you will get a lucky draw, and not have any SSB in your league. but i have lived through this cycle since season 9 with any team that we have tried to keep together. it makes going out and signing FA's your only option to break the cycle. i just wish they would make it more of an advantage to keep your team together, rather than a hindrance.

i dont necessarily blame the super slow builders. everyone is entitled to building their guys anyway they see fit. its up to the system to figure out how to level the playing field. a lot of the SSB are guys who started on this site long before most of us, and they just got bored before we did. that is why they came up with new ways to make the game better for themselves, like SSB. however, there is a downfall to SSB. if you were to keep your team together up into AA and beyond, the SSB are old and start to deteriorate faster. you dont actually get as much playing days out of them. when they are dieing off regular builds are still plateauing.

Which Is why I didn't SSB. I want to get to pro at some point and SSB reduces the chances of that. I still had success too. AAP has won about 80% of its games, been to 2 confrence championship games, losing one of them by 1 point. Most of the SSB teams i played along the way are hitting the plateu now and are in AAA. Where as AAP will likely be in AAA next season and wont plateau until season 19.

The only reason we outlevel everyone is that I built almost all the players, so they have been at or above the cap every season, and we don't lose many guys in the offseason.

lvl 46 is where it all happens guys, after that they get 1 to 2 more seasons but the lvl ranges work against them

i thought your guys were SSB. how did you get them so far ahead of where they are supposed to be? and you must have never boosted, cuz im surprised the are only lvl 50, yet 350+ days old.

Because they are not lvl 50, they are all lvl 56/57 so they are right where they should be.

Exactly, I boosted them every season. as far as being ahead, they are not much ahead of were equal level players are. The little advantage they have comes from things I've learned by playing the game for 16 seasons, and creating alot of players.
