With all the upsets, this is going to be a difficult ranking to compile, and will likely piss off several teams.
The Top Eight
1. Buffalo Buffalos (LW 2):
The team ahead of them got upset, so they take the top spot. They play their first real game versus the Sidhe where they won't be able to put up the kind of blowputs they are used to.
2. Berlin Stormtroopers(LW 5):
Everyone ahead of them except for Buffalo got upset, so they move to number 2. They have one more relitivly easy game until they hit a particulrly brutal stretch.
3. Kilkenny Sidhe (LW 10):
One of the teams that got one of the many upsets last week, and they did it in a dominating fashion with their QB passing over 80%. They face Buffalo next and will likely take the top spot if they can beat them.
4. Rome Gladiators(LW 7):
This is such a difficult team to rank. They are 2-0 and beat last week's number 1, but they were outgained during both games. How am I supposed to rank a team like that? Their red zone defense is legit though, and will keep them in many games. They face Dublin Fighting IRish next, another tough opponent. Can they continue the magic?
5. Londer Rippers (LW 1)
In a game earily similar to their last loss, they again give up a lead late in the 4th quarter. They have good balance with the #1 Passer and #2 Rushing in the conference, and look to rebound against a 0-2 Cougars team after we wash off our top hats.
6. DrUnKiN LuNaTiCs Beer (LW 6):
Despite all the craziness last week, they stay put even though they beat Dublin Fighting Irish once again, as each of the teams ahead of them have a legitmate reason to be ranked higher. They return home and face a weak Munich team, but they must be sure to avoid being hung over come game time.
7. Vatican Palidans (LW 3):
The Vatican Palidans, known for their tough defense last season, had amost 400 yards put on them last game. Can they find a way to rebound and reclaim their former glory? THey have two relitively easy games next, but then they run a gaunlet of very good teams.
8. Dublin Fighting Irish (LW 8):
They lose to Drunkin in a very close 19-17 game, but still survive in the top 8. They must likely win their next match against Rome to survive in the top 8.
The others
9. Tranmere Titans
10. BC Crew
11. Dublin Shamrocks
12. Dublin Vikings
13. Leeds Cougars
14. Munich Hofbräuhaus
15. P-Ville Powerhouse
16. Reading Renegades
GAME OF THE WEEK
Kilkenny Sidne vs. Buffalos
Buffalo Buffalos face their first strong opponent, a team that showed that it can put up points versus great defenses. This is the battle for the #1 position, most likely.
Honerable mention
