speed, stamina, vision and confidence should all be addressed after the major 3 skills have been addressed. I personally like to go light on strength as long as I can get it to 69 by level 10. The ALGs and all equipment in strength will get it to 120+ later on in his career.

As for the remaining skills. I would cap them in this order but spend the most SP on speed when all is said and done.

Confidence, vision, speed and or stamina but I like speed and confidence to be a minimum of 68.

I'm going to do:

Str: 74
Blk: 74
Con: 61
Vis: 50
Con: 68
Vis: 61 (only a possibility)

And then the minors

Agi: 74, then train it higher. Also I'll consider a large chunk of equip in Agi.
Spd: 61, or to 68
Stam: Hopefully only 50 will be enough.

Edit: And for my pass blocker, the same but with Agi and Str interchanged. This poor lad will spend over half his career on his backside, even if the revcake formula is fixed.

I'm focusing on the majors first with my younger G's too. They are going to suck with low Agility in the minors, but the ALG gains will be nice.

eh? str to 69 by lvl10 cant be done.

I capped str at lvl 2, been adding all my sp and i am now a level 5 with natural 59 str.... lvl 6 i will have 6 sp, lvl 7 =11 sp , lvl 8 = 16 , lvl 10 = 26. It will require 2 sp to get to 60, and then 24 sp to get to 68. Thats the best i can do. Youre talking MINIMUM 69, so i would really like to know how you got to there or higher, unless youre a good friend of Bort's?

Edit: oh wait, aLG gains MIGHT get me to 70, wouldnt they? Brilliant, my man, bloody brilliant.

Yep, also I generally cap my first skill at level 2 but I sandbag 85% to 99% training in that skill. So when I reach 69 I can train the skill 1 to 3 more times to make 70. If you did not do this you can do it on the next skill. I basically take my skills one at a time so I have lots of time to train the next skill while I am spending SP on the first.

i see, but wouldnt the new training system allow you to not only get M2 trained up in plenty of time, sandbagging included, but also multi something else (M3) simultaneously , to get it started , and thus spend less sp capping it down the road, or at least have a more rounded player without any real cost to the overall mission of the endbuild?

I never spend SP's taking anything over the 68 cap. It just seems too expensive and other area's suffer.
Would you rather the guy rock in season 6? or in season 10?

if he rocks in his sixth season, that means he has pretty much peaked , and its gonna be downhill from then on as other players built with higher caps start catching up and rolling him.

True, but since aging post day 400 went into effect everyone is retiring players in season 11 or 12 anyway.

I have a lvl 4 guard with:
Strength: 50.19,
Blocking: 21.7
Speed: 9.79
Agility: 12.17
Stamina: 10.46
Vision: 10.83
Confidence: 13.5

All special abilities are at 0. I have 5 Skill Points and 29 BT's. Should I continue to build strength or start on the other attributes? I was leaning towards either Blocking or Stamina, but after reading some of the above, I'm not so sure.

Thanks for your help.

I always stick with one skill at a time. That means take your first skill to 69 or higher depending on your build plan while training the next skill. That way you have more time to train the next skill up and it costs less SP to cap.
