Man I just find it hard to believe you can not purchase your regular 4 pieces of in game EQ.
Except for 75 BT's. Even a plain jane one with a +1. This might not hurt upper level players, but damn sure puts a damper on PeeWee when players might make a purchase mid season to round out a build.

So say you want to give you player more vision for a game, you are just SOL.
Before if you had the funds available in Team Equipment Fund you could buy that new 4 pieces of gear.

I guess I am just getting more and more displeased as a consumer.

plus 1. it should be free regular equiptment. The sim changes so much and those effects are most extreme at the peewee level. it would be a nice way to help deal with all the unbalances that arise, such as confidence, vision and stamina. how is the average user supposed to even try out different things with their build.

For Instance.

Originally I tried to buy a piece of Regular EQ with a +1 to vision (Now keep in mind I bought 2 pieces before hand as this was the word going around) However if I want to switch to another piece this is the response Error Message Each player may only have 2 non-superior items of each type.

I sold one of the secondary pieces in thoughts that I could go ahead and purchase another to replace it. (It is an agility piece and I prefer speed over agility for this player anyway) So it was not going to affect him.

So after selling the piece I went to purchase a plain piece. Just a new shirt for instance with a +1 and it costs me 60 Bonus Tokens. Even when you have room in your EQ space. And do not have any additional bonus ability selected (It is on None) It wants to charge me 60 Tokens for a plain piece? Response Error This player does not have enough bonus tokens to afford the selected equipment.

I am not so sure this was intentional. If so this REALLY messes up lower level players that switch up there normal EQ without. We are not able to wear AEQ anyways, so why would this be?

Player Equipment

NOTE - you will only be able to get a bonus token refund for a 2nd piece of EQ on a body part if you purchased it after the new system is added. In addition, there is a limit of four additional pieces (so a total of two per body part) of EQ per player. If you have more than two on a body part of regular EQ, the lowest valued pieces will be removed when the new system is added. As far as AEQ goes, you can either sell it and have the BT's converted when the system rolls over (the maximum you can save by doing this is 85 as the maximum allowed in BT's is 255 and the conversion rate is 3:1). Alternatively, you can keep the AEQ and sell if after the system has changed and get the increased conversion up to a maximum of 255 (so if you have a piece of AEQ that had 64 BT's invested in it in the old system, when you sell it in the new system you will get 192).

Every player will now be given one set of EQ. You will be able to upgrade this EQ for free every 8 levels. You will not be able to sell this equipment.

Every player can purchase a second piece of EQ for a body part at a bonus token cost. Upgrading this EQ every 8 levels is free. The cost is as follows:

First additional piece: 15 bonus tokens
Second additional piece: 30 bonus tokens
Third additional piece: 45 bonus tokens
Fourth additional piece: 60 bonus tokens

There is a limit of four additional pieces (one per body part) that a player can have. You can sell these additional pieces back to get a 50% bonus token refund.

Unfortunately, this was the plan...

If that's not fascism @ it's finest!!

This is like paying to play Pac-Man and only getting half of your Power Pills.

This is the reason that we all were told to buy those second pieces of equipment. Nobody on the DI had piece one let alone piece two, so I won't be able to make the switch mid season.

As a result, I bought all of my equipment with the mindset that I was only getting one shot at it for the season.

You'll be happy to know that I have two pieces for my Wam LB. :-)

Yeah I understand that.....I also have 2 pieces for each of my players. My point being if the game sim requires more stamina, confidence, or vision to counter penalty's for instance for a lineman. I should have that option to adjust.

GLB adjusts on the fly so why am I not able to adjust my players accordingly or so to speak on the fly.
I have no idea what the sim might do once my players turn level 5, level 8 ect...............

Trying to be as clear as possible.

Yeah, this change was meant to stop being able to change your player on the fly. That was the whole reason behind it... they were worried that with basic EQ being free that teams would completely respec their players before every game just to beat some flaw in the other team.

Of course at the higher levels everyone uses AEQ, so the whole thing was pointless.

If you had no EQ and needed some it would cost you 60 BT's

I just sold a single shirt and tried it, for only a +1 with no bonus. It is major rip off! It behooves me as to why. It is not like taking advantage of anything. especially when you pay the CEQ +6....If that is the case I should get a full refund for my +6 CEQ to change it then imo.

Seriously what gives!!

No. If you had no equipment it would cost you 0 BTs.

It is only your next set. You can never sell your first set.
