Here's the rankings per the script. I've been away on honeymoon so I don't have time to do any roster checks to tweak these rankings. (Unfortunately it also means I missed out on the recruiting period and now have to fill a team with what's left on the market )

I expect this to change a lot after a few regular season games.

Yeah these were based off preseason games and rosters so they won't stay this way long at all.

Honeymoon? You might as well just quit now...no time for GLB after marriage. LOL

West Nile at 14, that just slides us into the playoffs. That's a huge leap from our 6-10 season last year.

Thanks for doing these. And yeah I am sure they will change a lot. Cambridge Chieftains might not be a great team but we are not that bad

we will take what we can get when we can get it. Not sure how many times that can happen in a season, but i'm happy to see it's competitive and not like last season where we had 8+ 255-0 blow outs and in our first round of the playoffs we had a 255-0 blow out.

The ranking script doesn't seem to want to work for me anymore so I'll be doing these manually again like last season. Also going to split it up between Lion/Elephant to make it easier for me to track.

Week 2 Lion Rankings
1 West Yorkshire Bandits (2-0) - Back to back dominating wins keep the Bandits at the top of the Lion food chain. Week 3 has them matching up with a Bulldawgs team they've faced numerous times over the last few seasons.

2 Nigeria Nightmares (2-0) - The latest Nightmares to break into the conference are having more success than their Elephant counterparts so far. Fate saw both teams square off in week 1 in a match that was no contest. After squeaking by Kalahari the Nightmares face another undefeated team this week when they match up against....West Nile, who are off to their best start in a few seasons thanks in part to a favorable schedule.

3 Colonial Zoners (2-0) - 2 blowout wins are great for the stats and they'll coast again this week before facing the Bandits in week 4.

4 Sterling Bulldawgs (2-0) - A close win in week 1 against the Bastards was followed by a bye week. Next up another matchup against an old thorn in their side - WYB.

5 LHC Naked Turtles (2-0) - LHC's return to AAA has been marked with success so far and with a fairly favorable first half schedule I expect to see them climbing up the rankings in the coming weeks.

6 West Nile Mosquitos (2-0) - It's been awhile since West Nile has opened up the season 2-0 and been ranked so highly. Let's see if they can continue this turnaround as they also have a soft first half schedule.

7 Cambridge Chieftains (2-0) - An easy opening schedule keeps Cambridge undefeated. Things could fall either way for them the next few weeks and I don't see them staying undefeated much longer.

8 Botswana Bone Breakers (1-1) - Botswana had an unimpressive showing in week 1 before getting a bye week in week 2. We'll see if they can overcome their lack of depth when they face Kalahari this week.

9 Kalahari Night Riders (1-1) - Kalahari opened up with an easy win before narrowly falling to Nigeria last week. They'll have a shot at a win this week though.

10 Rapid City Sioux (1-1) - A win over Covington showed that Rapid City might be a threat...but the week 2 domination by LHC might just have struck fear into all Turtle opponents this season or exposed the Sioux's weaknesses.

11 Denver Assassins (0-2) - No rest coming this week with LHC hosting them.

12 Port Harcourt Playmakers (0-2) - A shot at a win coming up against Cambridge. Either way one of them gets rid of that blasted 0 wins.

13 Phoenix City Warriors (0-2) - Another team with a shot at win #1.

14 Morocco Snake Charmers (0-2) - Two big losses drop them in the standings.

15 Carson City Cadillacs (0-2) - After 2 blowouts the Cadillacs have put up 0 points in 0 wins.

16 Stockholm Polarbears (0-2) - CPU team

Week 2 Elephant Rankings

1 Zimbabwe Rebels (2-0) - The Rebels are off to a fast start and could remain undefeated for weeks to come.

2 Mayotte Metal Militia (2-0) - A close win over Somalia in week 2 sets MMM up for a great start to the season. They could go weeks without a loss now.

3 Barcelona Blaze (2-0) - The Blaze are off to a hot start as well but could that be due to their opponents. With a soft opening schedule it will be hard to tell where they really belong in the long run.

4 San Antonio Venom (1-1) - San Antonio got off to a rough start thanks to a crushing defeat at the hands of LHC before bouncing back against Alexandria. They could have their hands full this week against Somalia.

5 Blacc's Bastards (1-1) - The Bastards fell to Sterling in week 1 in a close match-up. They should be able to rip off a few more wins in the coming weeks though before facing a challenge again.

6 Somalia Warlords - Close loss to MMM shows they have some fight in them. Matchup against Venom this week should be very interesting.

7 Covington Black Knights (1-1) - After a week 1 stinker that saw the Knights fall 3-9 they came back and thrashed Cape Town. Covington is always a threat to make the playoffs but can they move into the upper tiers of the conference this season.

8 Warri Delta Warriors (1-1) - The Warriors fell hard to WYB in week 1. They have a chance to make a statement against Covington this week though.

9 Mario Maniacs (1-1) - Not a great start to the season. A week 1 blowout doesn't put much confidence in their stock after falling hard to the Bastards. Severely underleveled to play in AAA this will be a rough season for the Maniacs.

10 Nile Valley Vipers (1-1) - The Vipers are in the same boat as the Maniacs this season.

11 Mogadishu Juggernaut (1-1) - Hard to see another win in that column anytime soon.

12 Alexandria Barbarians (1-1) - With the Rebels on tap things don't get any easier. But Nigeria will pay a visit in week 4 to give them a shot at .500 again.

13 Cape Town Great Whites (0-2) - Falling hard to Covington is one thing but losing to a team you outlevel by 15-20 levels does not bode well for Cape Town.

14 Nigerian Nightmares (0-2) - Another rough season for the Nightmares?

15 Toro Nation (0-2) - Elephants CPU doormat for the season.

16 P-Town Ballaz (0-2) - The other CPU doormat.
