Warrior General Games

The players of the new exapansion team set in the locker room knowing they soon would meet on the field to play first of many games in the new African League.
The Cripplers newly named team GM Neverdodge, spoke to the players telling them today would be a day in the history of the Cripplers, the first of many games, no other game would be looked at like this one, this team would be judged by what it did on the field tonight agianst the home team Nigerian Nightmares. With a roar the Cripplers took the field to hear a sold out crowd cheering for their Nigerian Nightmares. The Cripplers heard the chanting of the crowd " Nightmare, Nightmare, Nightmare" The Captain's approached midfield and the coin toss was won by the Nigerian Nightmares. But this would be the only victory the home team would see today.

The Cripplers Defensive unit would only allow the Nightmare 9 total yards the opening drive. With 13 minutes in the 1st Quarter Jack Kemp marched the Cripplers down the field to give them the teams first ever touchdown.

Nigerian Nightmares, made every effort to answer the Cripplers score but was forced to punt away, only to have the Cripplers again march the length of the field, Kyle Jenkins rush, PAT made by Alex Higgins [TD] to the left (1 yd gain. The Cripplers had the game well in hand 14-0. The crowd fell silent and it would remain that way the rest of the night. THe Cripplers continued to dominate both sides of the Offense and Defense. When the last seconds few seconds on the clock and the score board telling the tale of this game, the first for both ball clubs 31-0. The day belonged to the Cripplers, they had been the Nightmare for the home team.

Good writeup. I'll look forward to seeing your report on our upcoming game (I own the Algeria Dunes). I hope you don't just write up games you win, because we're planning to put up one hell of a fight

Well this was written in honor of our first game, and we won, That and My FB scored 2-TD's. =) But sure Ill write one for our up coming game.

Game Plan: Well we plan on scoring(ALOT)

You did a good job of that scoring a lot thing hehe...I started watching it and my Offensive Coach dropped the result on me in messenger so I was pissed there was no more suspense, but...oh well, we hung in there, our passing game was stellar, but you completely shut the running game down, and made us one dimensional, which doesn't win ball games.

I'd be happy to have a quick quote in the writeup, perhaps something like "We caught up with owner Turnerhero after the game, and he had this to say: 'blah blah etc etc'" hehe

It was a hot day in Congo, as the Cripplers would be hosting the Hoppers of Algeria. The Cripplers entered the game as a slight favorite but the Hoppers hope to give Congo their first loss of the season. AS the Cripplers took the field on Offense Quarterback Jack Kemp looked over to Tanaman Moss, in the huddle. Go Long was all he told his #1 Reciever. Moss smiled and shook his head as the Cripplers headed to the line of scrimage. "14-72,14-72 Hut" The ball snapped to Kemp, the Hoppers D-line moved in to stop the Quarterback, but Kemp aired out the long ball 20 yard pass to Moss who had two defenders beat, it was now a foot race to the end zone, but Moss would not be denied. Cripplers7-0 this would be the start of Algeria's down fall, Play after play drive after drive the Cripplers would advance their lead over the Hoppers. Late in the 4th quarter the Hoppers knew the game was out of reach, but Crazylegs said to his team we do what no team has been able to do against this Defensive team. We put one in the end zone, and so the Hoppers marched down the field with 7 minutes left to play,Jeffrey Turner pitch's to Crazylegs McKee who carries the ball over the goal line, The Hoppers had done what noother team could, they stood in the end zone of the Cripplers. The Cripplers went on to keep thier hopes of remaining the top team in the African Elephant League alive, this day was theirs Cripplers 30 Hoppers 16.

Very nice commentary...I like the 'getting in the huddle' thing, you should continue that

Just too bad (for us) that the end line wasn't "The Hoppers had done what no other team could - hand Congo a letter 'L' for the season." haha...but you probably think the opposite

I guess he feels big because his team that has been around for two years is better than an expansion team, BIG accomplishment.

Not mentionning the fact that his name doesn t fit his league .)
