The Fab 4
1. Sun City Undertakers - These guys went 11-5 last season in AAA and lost in the 1st Round of the playoffs. They are well built from what I can see and clearly deserve the pre season #1 ranking.
2. Decatur Staleys - On a 20 game win streak and were the only team to defeat my Demons last season. Well run team with some solid agents and builds - however looking over their roster looks like the Staleys have a few agents who have gone AWOL for a few weeks now - could the empire come crumbling down? We will soon find out.
3. San Francisco Demons - My beloved Demons are having quite a pre season and I really like where we are as a team right now. No doubt we will have a home playoff game come the end of the season - but do we have enough to beat the Undertakers and Staleys?
4. Quad City Quarantine - Looks like an active off season for QQQ as they come of a 6-10 S15 campaign. Can they improve on that mark and make a strong run for the championship this season? Only time will tell and a Week 3 match up with Sun City should give us a good indication of where they stand.. They have some older builds and a lower chem so there will be some challenges for this team.
The Contenders
5. Tanzania Lumberjacks - Another team that was active in the off season upgrading their roster. Come in with an Avg Level of 65 which is tops in the conference but they have a smaller roster with only 45 players. These guys will be tough and will need extremely good game planning to beat one of the Fab 4 but dot wise it looks like they have the talent.
6. Kingdom Come - good solid roster but in the end depth will be a challenge for them - with only 43 players and the impact stamina and morale have in the S16 sim it will be hard pressed for them to keep up with some of the elite teams - however don't be surprised if these guys sneak up on some teams and I could easily see them grabbing the 4th seed in the conference. They will have to control the ball on offense as their defense has a number of thin positions.
7. Ethiopian Camel Snackers - coming off a 5-11 season in AAA with 3 of those wins against gutted teams. Like some of the other teams, depth will be a problem for them as they only have 43 dots. They should come close to doubling their win total from last season and make a push for the playoffs but I see these guys being at least a season away from being championship contenders.
8. Kearsley Hornets - Got promoted from AA this season and I am real familiar with these guys. Solid ownership and these guys are always going to leave their A game on the field. Probably got promoted a season too soon but I do see them winning enough games to grab a 7/8 seed in the playoffs.

9. Rome Wolves - Like Kearsley I just think they got promoted a season too early. They have done a nice job getting a full roster of dots and I am a big fan of the ownership but I just don't know if they have enough to make a playoff run this season. mlcaiazzo keep doing what you are doing my man - I love your posts and you keep the forums nice and fun!
10. Schrute Farms - Another team that got promoted from AA Lion they along with Kearsley & Rome will be fighting for that 7/8 playoff spot. brownhelmets is a solid owner and has done a great job keeping Schrute competitive but this season will be a tough one for them and I see them just missing the playoffs.

JStu, thanks for the writeup. I'm not sure if SCU has ever had someone give us a #1 preseason ranking. I hope we can help prove your rankings correct.

It's been a long road traveled... SCU originally birthed to APL and realized we just didn't have the builds to continue to contend. Selling and retiring the old roster, we demoted to one day return. So with APL in the windshield again, it sure starts to add a sinister grin to the face...
