World League wouldn't have existed. They waited until Cobra Kai earned their way before they dared create the World League.

Cobra Kai didn't exactly "earn" their way back in S10. They had a pretty big RNG and some retarded late minute Manus AI to beat Manus that season, and then proved how little they belonged by coming in 16th place in WL that season.

Which just makes my point. People love pointing out that Cobra Kai didn't do well in our first time through. And that's because the team wasn't ready. But Bort needed an excuse.... ANY excuse.... to involve Cobra Kai in the creation of World League to give it some validity. So he waited like a seven year old girl timing her leap into a spinning jump rope for just the right moment. And once CK came close enough, he executed the plan in a rushed, slipshod manner just so he could say "World League has Cobra Kai."

Since this is the first time you've read this truth, it just goes to prove that anybody can throw anything up on Wikipedia and truth is not always their primary concern.
