mccollums is the head coach for both Tombstone and the Goats, and look which teams just happen to be in the western conference finals?

mccollums is a Pee-Wee coaching god, and I respect & hate him for it...

What I don't like is that he is running two teams in Gold, and even worse, both are in the same conference. It also looks like his old Tennessee Crabs team, now called Bye Week, will likely go Gold again, giving him 3 teams next season.

So, does anyone really think my original post of asking coaches to limit themselves to only one team was a bad idea?

All I want is that Gold coaches limits themselves to running the offense and/or defense of only one team in Gold. I don't care what title you have, but if you run the offense and/or defense on a Gold team, don't do that same job on any other Gold teams.

It is rather counter-productive for the league and the game to have coordinators whore themselves around...

Wouldn't it be nice not to face LE or mcollums every other game?

Or you have three times as much footage to stop him or three times as much of a reason to build a team that is built just to stop his builds?

The more teams that they have to manage, the quicker they will burn-out or the less time they will have for planning.

omg will you?

Really Gerr, I think it'd be a great idea to just have a coordinator's league, it could be cool, but McColumbs is just a bad ass and there is no stopping him!

Considering that you have lost both of the last two Gold championships to him and looks like you are going to face him for a 3rd time, I figured you wouldn't be against this. Just imagine if his Bye Week team makes it into your Eastern conference for S16? If that happens, he will rule the Gold championships until someone figures out how to beat him.

Consider the recent run of championships that the Lakers have had, mainly due to Phil Jackson, who is known to be an elite NBA coach, probably the best there ever was. Just imagine if Phil took over the LA Clippers as well so every Western Conference finals was Lakers vs Clippers. Then imagine if we went back to the Bulls as well so he owns the NBA Finals also. First of all that would never happen. But say it did, how would you feel if you ran or were on another NBA team and were very good, but just couldn't figure out how to beat Phil?

LOL, there really isn't a "good" analogy for this.

I doesn't matter to me if he owned all the teams. No team is unstoppable. Just have to have the right pieces in place. Had we won last season this discussion probably wouldn't even take place.

You are correct in that no team is unstoppable, but I would like to face the mastermind behind those nearly unstoppable teams once per season.

As for this being moot if you won last season, I disagree. I would still bring it up and the argument behind it would still be valid.

Right now, mccollums rules the West and you rule the East. How would some of those other East teams feel if you decided to become head coach for another East team and bring your same high powered offense to that team?

Its just abnormal... I had to deal with it this season in copper, and I just don't like the idea of it.

I was thinking about this... making a team of ONLY great Pee Wee players... then again, I might not make the cut.

It should be noted that gruppo, a Strain protege, owns the Surly Goats and runs the offense. I think this is his 3rd season running an offense at any level in this game.
