Did anyone else notice a much larger number of penalties in the SIM today?

DSBM 6 for 30 including back to back on 3rd and 0.5 yards. Nothing kills a drive faster than back to back false starts.

Yeah, it was brutal to watch. I think you had a Guard that jumped off 4 or 5 times.

Above is me abusing all of you with my "POST FAKE" SA. Yeah, that's about how goofy the SIM is.
Here's my question -- what changed about everyone's dots that made penalties go nuts for the day's SIM??? What? No one has an answer??? You mean the SIM goes nuts every once in a while and would do something like call a goal line rushing play despite the OAI tester showing a field goal for the set of inputs? Nah, it would never happen.

Lol, I think penalties often occur in "plauge" fashion, as I feel it has quite a bit to do with morale.

seems the new OL build is to 3rd cap confidence, 2nd cap vision and stamina....screw strength and blocking

I think morale has always had a bigger effect in playoffs...IE: low confidence = more penalties.

I don't know. I had some fat guys with confidence in the mid 30's, and they still had low morale. I'd rather have an explanation as to why O-line loses morale so quickly and how they get it back. It would seem to me that if you open with a 7+ minute drive for a TD that the D-line would lose morale and the O-line would have a huge boost. For some reason, it seems to work the other way around. If the O-line is blowing up someone, then the D should be the one getting penalties.
I'm starting to think Bort doesn't really run a football site. I think it's more like Nascar where they change the rules each week/race to whatever they think is best for the fans or based on who they want to win.

My question is simply this: what is so different about the SIM for playoffs than for regular season? If that's the case, a dot that has high confidence should excel all season, but that isn't the case.

its just become more unclear then ever about how to build an OL...its obvious that SAs are affecting OLs from all over, but there is no counter to keep morale up...it is clear though that low morale=poor blockers=no run game/lots of QB sacks

mccollums and I had a pretty good discussion about how to counter these effects without sacrificing build. I'll be testing out an experimental build to try and prove my theory.
