the minor leagues aren't exactly the best place to find teams that aren't running on cruise control...

kind of hit or miss, I think that so far, during the run up from ground zero we've only seen 1 or 2 teams in each level that were trying to be competitive.

Shoot, this is the first season we've game planned since we dropped all the way down.

Am liking this season, it's been fun.. and some good forum action as well.

I think this league is one where there are a good amount of teams with quality dots, and they all want to win a trophy, but there's not a whole lot of actual gameplanning going on. Most teams will have a base defense that is pretty good for this level and just tweak something here or there based on who they are playing, without spending very much time scouting and going over ways to stop the opposition.

Same for the offenses. Look real quick to see what the other team is weaker against and focus there, but not spending a whole lot of time coming up with intricate gameplans like in the higher levels.

With the competitive, and then elite levels in the minors now though I think teams are having to gameplan more before they get to AA/AAA since there are so many quality teams moving up right now. There might actually be more quality teams in the higher minors now than in AA and AAA. I'm on a team that had a bad last season and dropped out of the Pros, and the quality of teams in the AAAs with them now is just not where it should be. All the games are like 144-15.

I predict Aalborg surprises the majority!!!
Not even a thought at the moment.... but will be a factor in the playoffs!!! Guaranteed.

Next season the top 6 or 7 in each conference (and most of the active guys in this forum) will all be in the same conference in the Cap 30 league. This new way of doing promotions is great. We'll all stay together for many seasons on the way up the ladder.

Yup, makes life interesting, maybe one day I can find a way to beat WSB or Bourbon Street. Lmao.
