1)In the Battle of the Big Boys, it started off with a 60.5 yd TD on the 3rd play of the game by Dexter Spiller and it just didn't let up after that.Truth be told, glancing at the PBP leads one to believe that this was a better game than the score shows. I'm sure both teams have already noted what they want to do differently, if they meet again in the POs. that said, today and the #1 ranking this week belongs to Carthage.
2) The ppl's champion D9 sea creatures from outer space climb up a notch, simply due to attrition in Ele. Frankly, I think the top 4 in Ele and D9 are p much lumped together, being toss up games in each case. Also, they beat their primary rivals from way back (nod of respect to DSL & the Redhorns). so, they deserve a gold star on the day.
3) I'm going to break ranks and give this spot to RR. Nothing personal Zambezi Silverbacks, but I just can't see dropping them any further than 3rd, just for losing a road game at the #1 seed's house. RR put up one of the best showing against them this ssn.
4) Zambezi Silverbacks...All they do is keep winning. Looks like it could be a big game in week 12. they have a good one coming up against BBM next week, but even if they drop it, the week 12 game should be for 1st place in Lion.
5)I'm putting the Swaziland Dachshunds here this week. Sure, the Pred have just as much right, but the Dachshunds have what has to be the toughest sched left in any PL. So, they deserve to be here for as long as they can hold on.
