It's hard to debate that he is good. But is he truly great?

Carreer stats to date:
Career 161 Games: 3,122 Carries: 36,054 Yards: 223.9 Y/G 11.5 Average: 655 TD's.

He has been in an uncapped league since season 9. He has destroyed the USA AAA #1 League. Unfortunately, the rest of the games this season are against easier teams, so that will inflate his stats by the end of the season.

In contrast to the great players from the past... Well they all grew up playing equal level competition. THL has from season 9 played against higher level teams.

Let the Circus begin. Oh... and Inb4 the 0 replies.

Good numbers. So hard to say who the real "best RB to date" is...because competition below really the Pro level is so watered down now. Truly the only real test of how good a RB is, is how we performs in Pro/World League now..where there are no gimme's and everyone is leveled up appropriately.

I would say very very good HB...not "great". I say that because he never accomplished anything above the AAA level and has never lead his team to a championship. No way he'd even be in the conversation with guys like Jedi, Dooley, Larry C, who were dominant vs. the best of the best and not only put up numbers but helped their teams win.

So yeah, awesome HB...congrats, but reality is he never played with the big boys and never won a championship. So pretty much just a numbers guy...good numbers tho...

He is only as good as the team he plays with. Championships are not won with one player.

He did play against 1 world league team this season. It was just a scrimmage though. In that scrimmage... AAA against WL. He put up more yards against, than anyone else they have faced.

championships aren't won by one player..true. Dominant HB's do tend to put teams is a favorable position tho...more then any other GLB player IMO, a dominant HB is a big piece to any championship puzzle.

Your HB is obviously very good and has been for a while...he may very well be the best HB in the history of dots. But just from an outsiders point of view, I can't say that a player who has been playing for 10 seasons and only played in 9 playoff games, has never won a title or played above AAA is "great" in the big scheme of things. Bitchen HB tho...maybe next season try to hook onto a WL team for one last hurrah?

My level 55 HB has been in USA AAA for 2 seasons now, and the season before that he was in USA AA. He hasn't been in the cloud in forever and he's 2.5 seasons younger than your dot.

Putting up stats in uncapped is meaningless. Putting up stats in AAA when you're at plateau is similarly meaningless.

The dot might be great, but if he hasn't played a down in the WL, there is no real way to confirm that.

You shouldn't have a problem getting him onto a WL team next season. I suggest you put him out there and try him out at that level next season. Lets see what he can do.

If there was a player that deserves the toot, it's THL. His 2 seasons in USA AAA have had to be the biggest nightmare DCs have had. A few facts to defend Crypt's position:

8 Mile doesn't hide the fact we like to run, even did it before THL arrived (and had an amazing HB then also in Vinny Mormino). Defenses key on our ground attack (or at least they should.)

Our SOS is the toughest of all playoff caliber teams in USAAAA #1.

He only gets about 55% of the carries for our team (our other HB is pretty darn awesome too!)

4 MVPs, and had the MVP race not been turned into a lottery, he'd be cleaning a spot on the shelf already for his fifth.

Recently went against Warsaw Wrath (ranked in the Top 5 in all of GLB, currently undefeated in World League). We got CRUSHED, but THL still put up 128 yds on 18 touches with 13 broken tackles. NO ONE has done that against those guys.

In summary, THL is the scariest back in the game. I'd love to get some challenges from those that think they can stop him. Cocky? No. Just realisitc that anyone that plays him now at his prime might have the pleasure of saying later on "Yeah, I got to see that guy first hand. He was the best." Kinda like us Lions season ticket holders got to say about Barry Sanders!

as far as just stat production..there aren't many HB's in the same zip code as Rusty..but this guy is pretty close.

But like Hulk stated...respect is more then just about numbers, you gotta face the best to be the best. Until you do that, you aren't going to be elite..you'll just be another good dot. I personally put alot of weight on championships for HB's...but either way, that's a damn nice career from a personal accomplishment standpoint.

he's pretty good looking and seems pretty well off and family oriented with a great sense of humor, but I'd say tea baggins is probably the best overall HB to date

I have a couple of arguments against that, but they are both debatable.

1. THL grew up in a much more adverse environment. Tea Baggins was a season 1 toon, and never faced players who were above him in level.
2. THL has eclipsed Tea Baggins in every category.

That being said... he didn't have the information I had in season 7 to help him build his toon. And with that, there are going to be players after THL, who do better than him as well.

He had a chance to go Pro last season, I chose loyalty to my team instead. We will be Pro next season, but that is going to be his peak season.

As far as playing at the WL level... he is the only dot, out of 28 teams who has more than 110 yards against the Warsaw Wrath.

That's on a AAA team, with 2 RB's.
