I suggest you give it one more loss first; we've had an absolutely brutal schedule to start the season facing every top team in our conference except the Wrath, and even got Valhalla in the first week. An 8-8 finish is still realistic, although an uphill climb, and would be a shot at the playoffs. A good game against ESL should count for something dammit...

I haven't really thought about it that much, but the midrange teams go very deep and they're beating each other up pretty bad, so I'm not so sure. Seems like a bunch of teams will have losses to teams beneath them in the standings when it's all said and done.

Anyways, today looks like SSDD for Wildfire - another scrim win in a tournament, another loss in league play. I'm hoping we pull a Navigators season 9 (PWT top 16, missed USAPL playoffs) at this point, unless we pull a Wildfire season 12 (1-6 start, made playoffs).

Pulling Valhalla week 1 and losing to La Tourette weren't friendly to our playoff chances. I think we're right on the bubble, though. Wish we had a season 16 back in WL to prove what we're worth (see AAA: 1-6 start, made playoffs, 19-1 next season, CPL east champ next season - we're always improving lol), but we'll see what noise can be made in the second half of the season!!
