Warrior General Games

1) Carthage...I damn near dropped them out of this spot, barely out, but then you look at their tourney record. Sure, some teams treat tourney games like scrims (see D9, mainly due to lack of time on my part), but you look at how these guys have been chewing through team after team after team after team, and I just don't see how I can bump them

2) and the Hogs were who I was considering bumping them for. their D has giving up 31 points on the ssn?! Are you @#!$ing kidding meThe really scary thing is that their dots are getting better with every single day that passes.

3) Oh, my beloved mutant alien shrimpies. Sure, we are a run team. Sure, we have 3 HBs that could start on most teams. Sure, we are leading APL in cakes by over 100, but guess what? Having climbed from the bottom to a middle of the pack team in passing yds over the past few weeks, I'm starting to figure out how to pass in this sim Add in that I've been massively strapped for time for the last 2+ weeks, but am about to have a bit more on my hands and all that just aint good news for the rest of APL

4) This is a tough spot. There are 2 6-0 teams and 4 5-1 teams that I believe deserve serious consideration for this spot. Still, I've always believed that you have to give the nod to records. So, I'm going to put RR here, since I truly believe Ele is the tougher conf (but not by as much as I'm sure the Ele guys believe it is). Forbin better put on his game face, though. He has 2 put up or shut up games in a row. RR comes out undefeated and they move up. If not, their stay in the always sought after, tremendously coveted APL Top 5 may be brief

5) It hasn't always been in OMG fashion, but you can't take anything away from the Zambezi Silverbacks' 6-0 record. There are 27 teams in APL that wish they were perfect. They also face a put up or shut up game this week....Despite the fact that they never talk in the forum

I've long said that my greatest personalities flaws are that I'm just way too nice, kind and giving to a fault. If it weren't for my incredible humility, which is my 4th worst personality trait, I'd point that out more often

Way to high on the Hogs Steve. They are rolling through the cupcake portion of the schedule right now and will be tested for the first time tomorrow by the Preds followed by the Ratels. If they make it to week 8 without a loss, then I think you can start to really talk about them as a top 5 team.

D9 is the #1 team in the APL right now. Humility be damned.

#2 I almost dropped Carthage out of my top five for the despicable act of treachery and deceitfulness they pulled in our tourney game against them. In the end, I decided that they are a good team whose owner just does bad things. So, I left them here


Also, since I've drug it out long enough, I should mention that 1 and 2 should be swapped and that it was just a lame joke.

So, you've been my #1 for 3 weeks running now (since I didn't do them since week 3)

I agree that they have yet to face the top Ele dogs, but you need to consider their 4 scrims, too. I like em where I got them, until they prove me wrong

ah...good stuff. we have played a pretty brutal scrimmage schedule. i've been really happy with the results so far.

I would just like to see at least one of these top 5 be worth a shit next season in WL.

Dakar can only hold on for so long.
