Warrior General Games

After many seasons of playing with more than a handful of you, its time for me to hang it up for good.

The reasons behind this are the new changes to the game, in which I strongly, strongly oppose. As most of you may know I handle EVERY aspect of this team, and with all these new changes coming for next season this will only add to my workload. These new changes are taking the fun away from the game for me and turning this into a full-time job.

I signed up for this to be my stress breaker from my shitty job, and my nagging wife, and life in general. Now with the apparent addition of Catch to the rank of admins, this game will keep changing in a manner in which im not pleased with. Im strongly against what Catch and Bort are doing, by not asking their customers about changing the game. I personally shell out over 40000 flex each season, and now im done. I will no longer purchase any more flex, and when this season comes to an end I will not even log on, I will leave GLB entirely, because im so disgusted with the new changes.

It has personally been a pleasure and honor to work with each and everyone of you. We've had a very long and successsful journey together, and im saddened it will be ending this way. Anways if anyone is looking to purchase the team (in which I have ownership extended through S21 Day 40) please let me know.

THIS WILL NOT HURT US THIS SEASON, AS I WANT TO GO OUT WITH A TITLE, AND GIVE BORT AND CATCH A NICE FUCK YOU ON THE WAY OUT

So, you are quitting over changes that have yet to be implimented and you don't know how they will work?

Damn did your daddy make you suck him off again?? Chill out and show the man a little respect. This game is going on the downhill slide and Thundercat isn't the only one hanging it up. I've heard from 8 Pro teams that are folding up their team after this season as well....

Its about time you gave up this failure of a franchise!

The over reaction to the changes by some people make me LOL. Casual league?

if i shelled out over 40k in flex per season, i would be f'n pissed too. T-cat is right, catch/bort didnt go about this the right way. They should have ask us/customer first what we thought, then decided. Even the revision of the new financial system is wack. Really the problem is GLB has a bunch of solid teams that continue to win and win, but instead of other owners steppin up and challanging those teams with a network of agents that can create decent dots, and field a decent team, they resort to bitching and crying about it not being fair, thus the changes. Im all for changes, but for the changes that are wack, i dont need to wait for them to be implimented to realize that GLB just took a turn for the worse. If i was a business owner and i lost a customer that bought over 40k flex every 40 days, i would realize something wasn't right.

$20 says he logs on again after this season ends.

im leaving this game because I dont agree with how the changes are being done, why the changes are being done etc.

Trust me if it were for making the game seemingly complex as it seems it will be i'd be sticking around for certain. But I dont feel that I as a consumer should be forcefed this new changes without even having a say or a POLL!

I've dedicated alot to this game and I enjoy running the show by myself, but I will not bow victim to unnecessary changes.

How bout Catch works on making 2 pt conversions possible, how bout adding more offensive plays, how bout work on blocking FG's/XP's. How bout redoing the entire structure of GLB league-wise to make it competitive again. I havent had a true rival in about 2 seasons, and that was the Athens Gods, in a fairly non-deep AAA league. I guess I'd have to go way back to the Days of EEA8 when the season actually meant something, not just ok fellas we'll run basic AI for the regular season and then when the playoff come we'll actually gameplan like how it is now.

I truly regret not coming to the Pros now, and think that woulda cemented my teams legacy. But we decided to bring the farm team up after our S13 League Title and turn down the Pros. Besides that I dont have too many regrets. Although sometimes I appear to be very controversial so I do take some of tjhat back as well. All changes (financial, training, and coaches) are now in their final version and Bort is going to begin programming efforts. i took some time out to pm quite a few rivals, and quite a few people whom I've always considered friends and longtime EE companions.

This decision was thought out, and I explained my reasons for my decision. This decision is still leaving a painful feeling in the pit of my stomach, because I've always worked very hard for everything on GLB, and especially for promoting EE. But I honestly connot get over not having a voice in the changes, and how these changes are being brought about.

For those of you that say hey TCat join a Super Casual league, i say to you idiots. More leagues = less competition and the eventual downfall of GLB. So lets say we have 5 basic leagues setup for next season then inside those leagues you will have Pro, AAA, AA, and Minors. Ask yourself this question honestly then....Do you honestly feel all those leagues will be filled with actual teams, or CPU teams. Exactly my point. They keep adding leagues to GLB infastructure and this game will continue to fall apart as fast as LA in an earthquake. I love they way the game is setup now, but the lack of competiton simply puts no soul in the game for me anymore.

Bort and crew have done a pretty good job thus far making a quality product that lots of people like, and they do listen to customer feedback (That's why a lot of these changes are being implemented).

They plan on eliminating some of the regions after giving team owners the option of choosing their involvement levels. Instead of hurting competition like you say will happen, I think it will actually improve competition because Casual owners can face Casual owners and Hardcore can face Hardcore. I think the restructuring is badly needed and so do many other people that post daily in the forums.

The only competitive game you have played all season was against us (WMDs) but you say you like the current structure. Clearly you don't care about competitive games as much as you care about your team going 7-0. Your outrage should be focused on the fact that your team has only played game out of seven within 35 points. You should be facing other dedicated owners like Donk3yMan that can give you a challenge. The new league structures and owner options will allow those types of owners to face each other more often.
