Lion Conference:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Massawa Redhorns VS. Carthaginian War Elephants:

This game matches up two solid teams that both seem to be struggling right now.. the Redhorns are coming off a loss to the Storm in which the turned the ball over 4 times.. while the War Elephants lost to Zambezi while turning the ball over 4 times! Does anybody else notice a trend here? The War Elephants average 4.75 turnovers/game.. that equates to a record of 1-3 (note to Jules Winfield.. your dots are yellow) This is either a serious second year slump or they really need to turn it on and soon. But the Redhorns can tell you.. it's possible to lose almost the entire first have of the season and still make the playoffs.. so there's hope.. If the War Elephants can avoid as many turnovers they ought to be able to come out of Redhorn Stadium with the W.. but that's a big if!! CWE by 3

Somali Pirates VS. Nigeria Nightmares:

The Pirates are coming off of a tough loss last game.. but so long as Husker2 didn't "rage quit" I think they'll be much happier today! The Pirate ship is back from MaRawk!! and anchored safely near The Killing Field.. wake up the wenches, tap the rum and fire up the special teams.. Welcome back above .500!

Lake Opeta Legionnaires VS. Sahara Storm:

Hey LOL.. while you were away in AAA there was a serious weather change.. and it left us with one powerful Storm!! Last week LOL game up 291 yards on the ground and turned the ball over 4 times (still seeing a trend here).. and the Storm like to run the ball more then the Headhunters do.. which will equate to another long day for your defense.. I think the Storm destroys LOL and Legionnaire Field like a twister through a Arkansas trailer park (no offense to anybody from an Arkansas trailer park).

PHP VS. Zambezi Silverbacks:

Nice win last week Silverbacks.. welcome to 5-0 which will also earn you a giant target on your back for the remainder of your games!!

Sahara Sand Monsters VS. Rwanda Headhunters:

I have no idea what's going on with the Other Sahara right now.. but I know that Ironton ran the ball down their throat last week and controlled the clock.. that bad news.. because last week the Headhunters were busy running the ball down LOLs throat and controlling the clock.. see a trend here too? I do.. and I think it's going to amount to winning streak for the Headhunters (we count 2 in a row as a winning streak right)! Rwanda by 6

Pretoria Crusaders VS. Uganda SilverBacks:

Uganda pulled off a tough win last week... while the Crusaders were enjoying their week off! This is going to be another great battle of 1st season APL teams.. the Silverbacks have shown that they have some muscle and seem to be the obvious choice here... but what's that.. they give up over 160 yards per game on the ground and have allowed more rushing TDs then anybody (with the exception of the CPU team and rebuilding Nightmares)... hmmm... I guessing the Crusaders are going to try to grind this one out and eat the clock.. Crusaders in the upset.. by 4

Cybertron War Machine VS. Ironton Tanks:

This game looks more like it's time to play war!! Both teams have already gotten that elusive first win this season.. but now it's time for one of them to step up.. I was impressed with the Tanks W last week and that could give them a ton of momentum... but I'm sure that Buddy has his 4th quarter al issues fixed by now.. so what this one really comes down to is a Tank is very specific.. you know what you're going to get and you know what it's capable of.. but a War Machine.. damn that could be just about anything and capable of who knows what.. edge to Cybertron.. by 6

*District 9 Prawns VS. Bamako Black Magic:
*Lion Conference Game of the Week*

Now this is the game I've been waiting for!! It's time to see how the Black Magic stack up against the Lion Conference favorite this season. The Black Magic almost stumbled last week against the War Machine... and that's not a good sign heading into The Killing Fields! I just don't see the Black Magic being able to go blow for blow with D9.. I can even tell you the D9 game plan.. their going to run Porch Junkie and Bort's Balloon.. the question is even knowing that can you stop them.. the Black Magic have missed 41 tackles this season (so far) I expect that number to be over 70 after this game.. sorry Black Magic but the Shrimpies are going to wreck that dream of the perfect season.. by 38 points no less!!

Elephant Conference:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Angola Blood Diamonds VS. Kiev Dynamos:

Two of the newbies in APL this season (yes Vegas I know the history but this is the first season back up here so you're a newbie too!).. The Dynamos avenged last seasons playoff loss in a big way last week.. while ABD was taking their turn behind the wood shed with the Mad Clash.. unfortunately (for ABD) I think that's a sign of how this season will play out for both teams. The Dynamos look like they could be a playoff team and I think this game will move the to 4-1.. and for them that's Dy-No-Mite!

Kickin Djibouti VS. Nairobi Warthogs:

Two teams that were in the middle of the playoff mess last season.. but now are heading in different directions.. The Warthogs are just on fire right now.. averaging over 700 yards/game on offense and only giving up 5.5 points/game!! While Kickin is just struggling averaging only 200 yards/game of offense.. that should be enough to tell you how this game will go.. the Warthogs continue to stampede their opponents!

Somalia Warlords VS. Carthage Mad Clash:

Wow.. I called the Warlords game right last week.. I thought that they would run the ball control the clock and get a W.. okay I called it right until the final 11 seconds. Unfortunately running the ball and controlling the clock isn't an option against the Clash because they only allowing 19 yards/game on the ground.. When you have two teams at the opposite ends of the spectrum currently you already know what you can expect.. the Clash continue to roll opponents over like the road crew in the spring time (at least in Michigan.. I'm not sure about the rest of you).

Uganda Mounties VS. MaRawk!!o Evil Aces:

Well I guess MaRawk!!o had an Ace up their sleeve last week! The Mounties have had a tough run of games the last 3.. (I mean really the Predators, then the Ratels, then the Warthogs.. good thing there aren't injuries in this game.. they'd be fielding half a team after that run) and I'm sure that they're more then happy to see somebody not sitting at the top of the conference! Keep working on that offense MaRawk.. but if it isn't ready this week I think the Mounties will be throwing cards all over the field.. Mounties by 14

Sahara Sand Storm VS. Swaziland Dachshunds:

This is going to sound very familiar to a team from last season.. S3 I have some good news for you at least you have those shiny digital trophies! The bad news is you're about to run into a team that prides itself on their aggressive defense. The Dachshunds only allow 12 points/game... and S3 only scores 9.8/game.. you can all see where I'm going with this one... Swazi continues to roll 24-0

Ivory Coast Breakers VS. Pirgos Warlords:

For the Breakers that 20 game winning streak is long gone.. now their just looking for A win.. they played strong last week against the little ankle biters but couldn't quite get there.. now they get an angry Warlords team that's in need of a W. ICB can plan on a heavy dose of Lethal InjectionII and D. McCormack.. which for a team giving up over 200 yards per game spells defeat.. Pirgos by 10

Mauritius Mountain Lions VS. Rhodesia Ratels:

The Mountain Lions have to be wondering when will this stretch of games end.. SoA followed by the Predators and now the Ratels.. that can't help team morale at all!! While the Ratels have put together their first 4 game win streak ever in APL.. well we might as well call it 5 now.. the Ratels protect their old QB much like the Vikings did with Favre.. run the ball!! Ratels will run to a 5th win and a date with the Predators!!

*The African Predators VS. Sons of Anubis:
*Elephant Conference Game of The Week*

I really look forward to not having the Sons involved in a game of the week.. but it's unavoidable this week! The African Predators are 4-0 and haven't won a game by less then 42! They're second in the conference in passing and fourth in the conference in rushing.. I guess that's how you average 87.8 points per game!! Lead by Mr. Do-It-All Bo Jackson.. who's 3rd in the conference in receiving yards and 4th in the conference in rushing yards... these Predators look to be an unstoppable force (but their schedule so far looks suspect to me).. while the Sons are still APLs favorite blue collar team.. show up.. put in work.. nothing flashy .. we just do what we do. Today we will find out if The King of Bling truely has a juggernaut under his thumb.. or if the Sons can come into The Jungle and turn it into the UnderWorld!! This one get's a you call it

Who cares about recruiting. The foundation of the game is what I am worried about. Don't fix the sim, but do ad ways to make flex and distract the userbase from just what is going on with the core product.

It really is not that there are too many changes at one time. I more have an issue with priorities and motive.
