How I hate you.. sucks losing a game because your kicker missed a PAT (and a FG from the 20 with 25 seconds left). Hate to lose by something you can't control.

Werd. That's worse than losing because of goofy ST behavior on punt coverage. Heck, I have a level 26 kicker, and he went 8 for 9 on XP's yesterday. How the heck does a level 26 kicker with over 108 in kicking with EQ miss an XP?

Kicking game is becoming a joke. It's sad games are decided by special teams. Thats like with San Antonio Saviors, held a team to 60 yards yet they win 21-14 when they were clearly out played. Some games like this would make someone want to hang it up because in realitry, special teams is like playing the lottery. It's all luck for the most part.

Just look at my tourney game against FGC...

http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=1179598

He went 1/4 in FG's and I went 0/2, all 20-29 yard attempts. What a joke!

And yet when I proposed the ability to punt from within the 30 or to increase low level field goal distance and accuracy, no one supported it.

I'll re-post the idea: http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=3946708

That's because you could kick field goals then with some level of success. I'll admit, I am on your band wagon now.

I kept 2 kickers figuring that would help...but alas, Strain doesn't score enough yet to tell if it was worthwhile.

If they are going to let kickers kick 50+ on Kick offs anyhow (No matter what the build) and a decent build kicker can't kick a fucking 20 yarder.
It might be worth making P/K's again and open up a free spot on the roster.

We might go this route next season.

Of course next season it will be changed again so that Kickers in Pee Wee and Cap 4s are hitting 50+ yarders... just like the passing game buff.

Someone said, he is hob-knobbing with the GLB staff these days! I guess he wears a tie and khakis when he reports to work?

That's not really that bad. I had a level 70 kicker at one point and he still missed a handful each season (which of course isn't realistic still, but not extreme). It was funny because his last season he was perfect from 50+ and even 4/4 on 60-62 yarders but still missed 4 PATs
