just looked at every team's first 2 preseason games. 5 out of the 16 teams have gone 2 and 0. 10 of the 16 have lost both, and 1 team went 1-2. so were 11 - 33 combined record. basically, count those 5 as the playoff teams and the 6th will be the billz

amazing how you can gauge the relative strengths of each conference based on two preseason games during an offseason where players, plays and functions have received more than minor tweaks...
