Warrior General Games

I'm bored and don't want to start doing real work yet, so I'm going to throw out my guesses op APL's top 5.

Disclaimer
1) A lot of stuff can still change before the 1st reg ssn game
2) These are just "guesses" for fun and I don't pretend to have high odds of being right
3) If you get POed over this you really need to go and enjoy the outside world for a while

#1 D9, of course. After our absolute throttling of Carthage, Ele's top returning team, we struck such fear in their hearts that they determined merging with another was their only chance of winning Gold. Nothing more needs to be said, yet I will.

#2 Carthage, a very good team last ssn, this ssn's version is absolutely prime age to make another run. Their effective lvls look good and if their open build at G is indicative, they are. Frankly, they better win up this ssn, or face a massive rebuilding process the following, minus the incentive of WL.

#3 Warthogs...Sure, they're young, but I challenge anyone to find a roster of more solid builds at any position. Don't waste your time. You can't. You teams in Ele better hope to get these guys early. Because of their age, they promise to get nothing but better as each day's worth of XP adds up. I sure the hell wouldn't want to play them from week 12 on through the POs.

#4 Sons of Anubis is a very talented and well run team. If RL cooperates enough to allow kmm to focus for an entire ssn, this group of dots may well take the entire cake and eat it too.

#5 Sahara Storm....See Carthage, with a little more age diversity. a Team that made some noise in their 1st ssn in APL looks to make more this ssn.

Honorable mentions:
If DSL can finish off his team with quality dots, it'd be foolish to fail to mention JJ. The giant killers have the ability to get every ounce of production from their dots. The same can be said for the Pirgos & Carthaginian War Elephants. Finally, all of the new teams. Odds are good that at least one of you deserve to be in the top 5. I just don't know enough about you to guess which.

IMO, Warthogs will be in the championship game. There will be some perceived powers that will be sad pandas at the end of the playoffs.

Oh, and CWM is built pretty on par with the Warthogs. However, Warthogs have 5 average levels on us.

Yeah....There are a couple of new teams that look like they'll make one hell of a jump in ssn 16. I've enjoyed my 2 ssns in APL immensely, but I'm hoping like hell to get out of here after this ssn, because it looks like it will get a lot tougher to do that the following.

WE intend to throw some hey makers this season. However, season 16 we are all in. That is our target date for a big run. I think this season should be a very fun one. Being one of the lower leveled teams(no matter how well built I think we are) will ensure we are in playoff mode all season game plan wise.

Thanks PP.. I've been looking for something worthwhile to read!! Hopefully SoA won't let you down because I love me some cake!! Even a top 10 would be tough (where's RJ) because JJ, CWE, Pirgos, Kickin and those feisty Dachshunds all get plenty of respect from me as well!

Yeah....there were all sorts of others that I could have/should have included. Any one of the teams you list that I didn't could make me look like a complete fool (I'll give myself a free pass on the new teams)

I would agree on the free pass.. hard to know how they stack up during the off season, especially since most everybody is still making roster moves! But we'll find out eventually...

MaRAWK!!o will have two goals this season:

1. WPL
2. Not AAA again.

We will be happy with obtaining at least one of these goals.

It isnt a bad idea. We have a lot of hookers and blow, a ton of RUM, a Killer diving board. It will be a good time.

Nice stuff as usual PP. I agree that JJ could be tough this season if we could just get some more good dots... wait wat?

Seriously, it seems like we have quite a few good new teams here, that also like to keep the forum jumping. It should be a fun season all the way around. And of course we have the old vets that can always be counted on for a laugh or two. (although I've been a little disappointed by CWE's trash talk lately. I've come to expect better from them through the seasons)

Good luck to everyone! (except who we play, on the week that we play them. On those days, I hope your team bus explodes in a huge ball of fiery hell, and your remains are peed on by large yaks.)
