Almost forgot to make a post about this, since it's a little unusual.

There were a couple WL teams gutting or CPU, and one in the top 8, so there was room for an extra team to either stay or promote. Took a look and decided Sparta was probably the best choice, as the demoting playoff team was also from EE, and Sparta turned it on pretty well at the end of the season, barely missing the playoffs.

Here's hoping they will show everyone they deserve the nod! I'm sure they will.

Sparta was the best team in the WL last season that did not make the playoffs, imo. Solid choice.

Yeah no kidding, we appreciate the gesture and this is great news (even though we didn't earn it)...but knowing earlier might have helped as we were kinda recruiting for Pro Oh well...if you are interested in joining Sparta, I don't mind making this a recruiting thread!

And kingdan...we already have a LOLPro trophy...no need for another Although I have no illusions we would ever win a WL trophy!!! How about you send us some of those top Marblehead guys???
