Ok, just playing College Town... Calm it down Meow!

So I think the top four of Zeta are honestly pretty dam equal... Yeah I was surprised by Berlins defeated as they did roll over Moscow the first time, but the Mad Cows have really cleared up their fumbling problem during the post season and has paid dividends for sure! Then we have College Town that was pretty much done the same way in the regular season by ALS only to come to the playoffs with a different idea for an outcome... This all being said I think this is the most intriguing match up between the two games!

College Town NWA Feeble Minds
I love this squad like they were my little sisters... funny group of dudes, just pissed I was never invited!... Anyways College Town lead by their Owner Chop Lobster and ever so gentlemen like GMs of Da raiders, Stink Cheese, and every so often Baseballguy. This crew I have got to know over the season and have always remembered them as a pretty stout crew along with a pretty decent run game (luck you did not face my squad ladies!) College Town comes into today's game with one of the more efficient D's as I already figure... this squad has only given up 7 TDs on the ground which ties them for 2nd least in Zeta... with Moscow Then as for Pass D College Town has only allowed 8 TDs to be thrown on them so far this season which again puts them at 2nd least in Zeta... again trailing Moscow with 7? Crazy... But after that College Town breaks away as they Lead their Conference and OPL in sacks with 193! that is 60 more than the number two in OPL! Reminds me of the the days of Sacky Gnu which is just now a memory! Another factor to the Feebs great Defense is that of their ability to force INTs as they currently have forced 34 on the season which puts them 4th in Zeta in that category and out of those 34, 19 were returned for TDs which was 2nd best in their Conference... but unfortunately I don't see Moscow throwing that much anyway... One thing I do believe could help the Feebs is that knowing they were able to force 53 fumbles in the season which puts them up in the top five for forced fumbles could effect Moscow's running game knowing they were sort of suspect there during the regular season? This is really going to be a defensive game in my opinion

Moscow Mad Cows
Moscow has had an hands down great season and with their win over Berlin has got to be a motivational factor to show that this rookie squad is ready to play for the Zeta title and more! Moscow is lead by dzer13 which has been one of the classy owners I have seen this season... Moving on, Moscow will come into today's game with just as efficient D as the Feebs, can they cause the turnovers and sacks like College Town, yes. Have they done it during the season? No, not like the so of their peers have. Moscow just like the Feebs have allowed under 15 total TDs this season, Moscow is tied for 2nd with TDs allowed on the ground as noted early and also is in 1st when it comes to TDs allowed through the air with just 7 there also giving Moscow a total TD count of 14 which is a 1 TD advantage over the Feebs that have 15. The only team be better than the Mad Cows in TDs aloud is ALS Next on the list for the Mad Cows of Moscow is their running game, yeah, yeah I am sure they are tired of the fact they had fumbling issues this season... I only say running game because even though with all the problems they had with running the ball they still had one of the more effective running games in the league with their H-backs averaging almost 7 yards a carry! that is pretty damn good, good enough to have them have the 3rd most potent rushing attack in Zeta behind Berlin and ALS, but College Town is not far behind at all with 6.8! I really feel that there is no clear advantage wise in this game build wise, it will all come down to GP with this one as I look for it to be a smash mouth game with the last person with the balls wins it and moves on to face Indy!

Final Thoughts
Besides Moo being a dumbshit and not realizing I was kidding any of the top four teams and calling my squad garbage... I will feel this write will bring it down for us on how the game will pan out with it being a run driven game, maybe the team that has the more efficient Passing game or Pass D might give that squad the edge which in that case I feel it would be the Feebs... None the less great game to look to and will provide Indy with a for sure challenge!

If you had a better team, you'd be considered a braggart or a bully. Or maybe you're just having fun but since your team is significantly inferior I'm thinking more along the lines of village idiot.

Amazing accuracy in the write up Josh... they never disappoint. You absolutely nailed it about the INTs and a FF in the first half is really the deciding factor in my mind.

If MMC scores on this drive http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=1100175&pbp_id=1988376 , I think the morale victory is already won. We would have had to fight bad morale and a big deficit the rest of the game... probably would have been too much to overcome. (see our scrim against Kai for an example).
