4 games to go and it comes down to 9 Elephant and 10 Kitten teams fighting for playoff spots. The Shrimps and Rhino's are battling for 1st and this will come down to Rhino's vs The Storm. Rhino's win and they get 1st, lose and they get 3rd...Over in the Elephant, there is no margin for error for the GRiTs who get 3 tough games in a row, win out and they get first. Lose one and the GLB tie breaker jumps into full effect. On to the rankings...
1) GRiTs (W) - Solid win today highlighted by Sweet taking the day off with only 11 carries. The good news, we found out today that all you taggers who think Dam can't run to the outside, think again! 3 RB's who get it done anywhere on the field, tough to stop. Imagine if we cared about MVP's and not wins, we would sweep the board! Come and Take It - Next up Sons of Anubis, this will be a battle!
2) Windhoek White Rhinos (W) - Bounced back nicely after the shocking loss a few days ago. Maybe that loss was the best thing that happened to the Rhino's as they refocus for a strong stretch run! Winning 1st is a huge money game for all involved...
3) District 9 Prawns (W) - Yawn, snorefest another win for PP and the crew. Change up your AI and run something different, you are boring the crap out of me! Who is this RandomBeast and why does he not post in APL?
4) Carthage Clash (W) - Hays needed a Minor Miracle today to come back in the 4th quarter, almost putting his foot in his mouth! But almost doesn't count, so the GRiTs need to spend another day looking down on the creepy Clash who just won't go away.
5) Sons of Anubis (W) - With terrible news there is always some good! We found out that all of our wives, mistresses and girlfriends hate the way we spend endless hours balling in GLB! We all get the faces, the eye rolls and the token dope slap but only Steve gets to have a lesbian for a potential sister in law!
6) Sahara Storm (W) - In a battle of the Sahara teams, there was a Storm and a Monster...Maybe a cookie monster, because the Storm showed there was only one team in Sahara today!
7) Nairobi Warthogs (W) - This team is 9-3 and I still don't know what to expect, but we will see soon enough when we matchup in a few days. For what it is worth, I am very impressed with going over 100 today!
8) Swaziland Dachshunds (W) - Very nice win today but I see teams are starting to score some points on the Ravens of APL. Not a good thing...
9) Pirgos Warlords (L) - Give them props and they lose! This was a battle of two teams who refuse to go away in the Elephant. I am not lying, I would have loved to have seen the Daschunds on the outside looking in, they are that good....
10) Kickin Djibouti (W) - Their schedule looks awfully familiar to me, does it get any tougher in the final 3? Any slip ups and 9 wins is not out of the question, highly unlikely but this sets up to make things interesting down the stretch...
Forbin, I always thought a pesky Ratel could handle an African Predator, boy was I wrong! Enjoy your next two wins, your last two could have you on the outside looking in!
As for the chatty King, you say the GRiTs were lucky once but won't be twice? Do I dare bring up the history of this matchup or shall we agree that the word once can be used on your side as since season 10 the Predators have beat the GRiTs exactly once! Carry on now, and good look to all in your pursuit for the playoffs!
