Well, I went 2-2 in my game 6 picks, season record of 15-6. I evidently chose to predict good games, maybe I should choose lopsided ones next time. Here goes:
1. Chili Dogs (4-2) v Coronado Boltz (4-2). Two teams with the same record; one team seems to be an overachiever, one team a bit of an underachiever (until game 6). I liked what I saw out of the Chili con queso Dogs, and expect them to continue their winning ways and take a bite out of the Boltz. Coronado, SHOW ME YOUR LIGHTNING BOLT!
2. Lexington Lancers (3-3) v Blackrock Reapers (4-2). The Reapers get back on the winning track and de-horse the Lancers. I think this is the 1st time the Lancers have been in my prediction pool, and it does not look good for them, but thanx for playing! Maybe next time they can be here on more favorable conditions.
3. Atlantis Stormriders (5-1) v Duluth Eskimos (5-1). The Stormriders got their 1st loss of the season last game, and are looking to right the ship. Unfortunately, the Eskimos are going to put the freeze on Atlantis, and send them to a second straight defeat. Oh agony, agony, the horror of losing. Is it true that Eskimos offer their wives to a guest to be hospitable? I bet Eskimo chicks are not that hot...
4. Black Sea Buccs (6-0) v TB Tarheels (6-0). Game of the day, two undefeated teams battling it out. This one will help sort out the Power Rankings if nothing else. I like both teams, but I think the Tarheels win - call it a hunch. Kind of odd having Tampa Bay play against the Buccaneers!!
