1) Windhoek White Rhinos (W) - I heard the Monsters won the toss, the first loss of the season for the Rhino's.

2) GRiTs (W) - GRiTs were looking for a fight and got a Ratels team who were throwing punches until the final whistle, coming up just short today! GRiTs are lucky to remain undefeated.

3) Sons of Anubis (W) - Mountain Lions didn't have much to offer here as the Sons put out a saucer with milk and pounced when then the Kitty's went in for a sip.

4)District 9 Prawns (W) - Not much to say about this one, PP had the boys ready and they didn't disappoint!

5) Sahara Storm (W) - Rocky says they are not worthy, yet 6-0 says they are! Huge match up with the Fever coming up shortly, that should say much about both teams.

6) Carthage Clash (W) - Much like the Jeffersons, Hays and the Clash are moving on up! Hays is talking tough and calling out teams and backing it up along the way. Respect is earned and a nice win over Pirgos today has a few people asking if this team is ready to contend for the title...

7) Rhodesia Ratels (L) - 3 points is all that keeps them from being 6-0! This team will be there in the end and I sense some hostility over the seemingly friendly trades being made with another APL team! I like rivalries, Hays and Forbin taking it to the ring..

8) Pirgos Warlords (L) - Looks like the Warlords took a nap in this one as they started out down 14-0 in the 1st quarter and never recovered.

9) African Fever (W) - I'm going to leave the Fever at 9 right now, let's see what they have to offer the Storm in a few days. 13, 12, 12, 13........What follows?

10) Swaziland Dachshunds (W) - Nothing like a Choctaw Cracker Party to start things up and get the Hounds back into the top 10. Say what you want, but this team has the talent to take it all.

Teams being Evicted:
10) The African Predators (W) - Like the Kings ladies, this team is Average! You can't win one, lose one and expect to get a seat at the head table. GRiTs want your A team, stop ducking us King!

Teams that are looking in the window, waiting to come in:

Swaziland Semnikati - Take notice, you are being watched!

Nairobi Warthogs - Could have the toughest back 9 of any team in APL!

Let's be realistic, I can tell you the plays we are running and you won't beat the GRiTs! The only play you might be able to stop is the QB Kneel....

Just saying....Don't worry, we have a nice plan for your team! We have one roster spot open, I think APL will be turned upside down to see who shows up for your game!

I'm not sure there is a clear cut favorite in Elephant, but if I had my pick I would say any of these teams had a shot to make the title game, in no specific order:

Sons of Anubis
GRiTs
Carthage Clash
Rhodesia Ratels
Pirgos Warlords
Swaziland Dachshunds
Kickin Djibouti

Over in the Rhino's, sorry I meant Lion it is more of a two horse race right now:
Rhino's
District 9

No disrespect to the other Lion teams, but these two seem to be headed on a collision course to the finals. One thing I can guarantee, the Regular Season means nothing at all as the 2nd time around can produce much different results based on GM's putting in a little bit more work, teams spending their VA's and SP's, equipment being paid out, etc...
