Well, here it is, like a lump of waste stuck in the small intestine for an extra day and finally released with the rancid smell of victory and relief, my week 5 writeup. Tampa Bay makes it's second appearance. I know many were hoping that MOD and Blaze would have been the choice but the third quarter of that game killed it. So we focus the spotlight on this match. Very entertaining game, let's take a look:

This game started off with a bang. Tampa kicked off and it was a touchback. The first play is the Fullback Out from the I-From with the FB and TE staying in to block. WR #2 does a jig and the CB gets lost. Lance Longarm hits Scott Silva for an 80-yard TD and Bob's your uncle it is 7-0:

Warsaw 7 - Tampa Bay 0

Tampa takes over and picks up one first down. Their drive stalls on this 3rd and 8 deflection by Too Many Dreads Not Enough Locks:

Warsaw drives to midfield but the Krakens D says 'No Mas', Atari Blades with a stuff for no gain on 3rd and 4:

Lucky Lee gets the team moving and hits two passes near 20 each. Both of them to Johnny Egg Man Ryall on Quick In's to WR #1:

That gets the Krakens close enough to kick a FG, a 50-yarder by Tom Gun:

Warsaw get the ball on a touchback and start to drive. Lance Longarm to Scott Silva out of the Strong I on a WR Skinny Post for 26-yards:

The Wrath get close to the red zone but then suffer a setback. Longarm is looking for Silva but underthrows him and Isaiah Kinnick steps in front with the pick on a TE Sideline pattern:

After that the teams trade punts. This deflection by Trevor Lang forces Tampa to punt:

Tampa drives to midfield when Fidel Castro forces a fumble, but Porkchop Wilson jumps on it for the Kraken:

Then Fat Boy Choi gets a sack on 3rd and 6 to force a punt:

Tampa puts together a drive that look like it is headed towards some type of payout. This 20-yard connection from Lee to White Man Deluxe for 20-yards gets them close:

Then 17-more yards on the next play from Lee to Alex Jackse, who does a great job of pulling it in after a deflection:

1st and 10, 1:27 left in the half. Lee is sacked by Zach Fischer:

After an incomplete; 3rd and 15 on the 36, Lee is sacked again, this time by Fidel Castro:

So 4th and 21 from the Warsaw 42.5 is likely just outside of FG range and the Kraken punt. Its a good one and the Wrath just run out the clock.

Tampa Bay has done a great job aside from the one long TD pass. Now they just need to put together some offense to pull off the mild upset. On 3rd and 7 after the half Lee hits Jackse for 21-yards to get them going:

The defense is fired up and this deflection by Atari Blades forces a punt:

As Blades is leaving the field he tells Justice Brandeis, 'Don't fookin' fumble'. Of course, Justice does just that and the two get in a brawl on the sidelines. Big hit by Special B jars the ball loose and Sergeant Poops (don't ask) recovers:

Lady luck is a whore, the Wrath take advantage of the short field. Five plays later Longarm hits Mercy Harvin for a 19-yard TD and the visitors have the lead back:

Warsaw 14 - Tampa Bay 10

After that it is four straight three and outs. The only highlight being this sack by Too Many Dreads:

So Tampa gets the ball at their own 32 after this nice 16-yard return by Brandeis partly atoning for his fumble:

They put together their best drive of the game. This 17-yard pass from Lee to Piledriver Bones for 17 moves the chains:

So back to the well for Warsaw. "Do you get style points for long drives they ask?" And then bust out the lightning bolt and strike with the Longarm to Silva combo, this time for 75-yards and they get the lead right back:

Warsaw 21 - Tampa Bay 17

Tampa is undeterred, although some doubt is in the back of their mind as first down Lee is sacked by Moga 8-Track:

But on 3rd and 15 backed up on their own goal, they get a 24-yard hookup from Lee to Deluxe to keep the drive alive:

Time is running out. Warsaw need at least a FG here to relieve some of the pressure. They drive to midfield and facing a 4th and 4 with 1:55 left they get the play of the game. A 19.5-yard connection from Longarm to Silva keeps the game alive:

With 1:35 left there is plenty of time for Tampa to win the game with a FG. Will we see some Lucky Lee to Egg Man magic? Nope. Right as the kickoff is hit, Justice Brandeis hears Atari Blades say 'take a knee!' and decides he is going to run it back for a TD to prove Atari wrong. But Special B pounds him again and there goes the ball, Special C recovers it and the crowd goes silent. Atari says 'MOTH*()KER(!@!':
