Yorktown Generals vs Spokane River Rats
- After starting the season with back to back wins, the Generals are reeling from back to back losses. Can they rebound back for a win against Spokane? While Spokane despite a pretty good off season recruitment has not been playing up to par, can they start a comeback? Look for this game to determine if one of these two teams can turnaround their season and compete for a playoff spot.

Prediction
Both teams have played a Boracs and based on this I see Spokane gutting out a close win. Spokane wins by 12 points.

Holland Pinoy All Stars vs Barcelona Bandits
- Barcelona is on a tear right now, three straight dominating wins and they find themselves back at the top half of the conference. They now face the All Stars that they've owned for the past two seasons and who are playing above their capabilities. Can that upset against Lush propel the All Stars past Barcelona? Or can Barcelona continue to dominate the All Stars?

Prediction
Unlike the past seasons where Barcelona simply crushed the All Stars, I see this one to be a pretty decent match. Barcelona gets off to a fast start then the All Stars come roaring back then it will be a slugfest in the latter stages of the game with the Bandits pulling out a 9 point win.

Thanks for the props but after that first meeting against the Bandits where we won it, they've been dominating on the next two meetings. We probably closed the gap this season but probably not enough to pull off my team's second win against them.

I hate this game sometimes I swear. I really don't get why we're struggling as I do think I brought in a solid recruiting class. Meh!

usually it has something to do with level difference (difference in total SP's and VA's - for your matchups) and then it comes down to AI/Gameplanning.

oh and i forgot to add the Bort changes each season usually throw a wrench into the process as well.

Your guys look pretty solid based on levels and I do agree that you had a very solid recruiting class.
Its probably an issue on AI (???) or maybe just like what Mordaloch said.... Bort making changes before the season and during the season.

I think it has to do with me not understanding how the !@#!@#!@# the OL functions. I swear it changes every effing season. Oh, well, back to the drawing board.

IMO a majority of the time you can look at the Blocking stats and tell the outcome of the game. I think it's imperative to make sure your line is strong enough to cause pancakes and avoid the reverse pancake on defense. With the line now getting off the LOS and moving downfield on running plays you really need some DTs that can absorb the double teams and free up the LBs to make plays. A lot of people are complaining about the number of pancakes on the LBs this season which I think is great. This should eliminate the LBS with super high speed and agility and make them focus on strength and tackling a little more like a LB should.
