Some early season rivalry games and some early season upsets as 1 and 2 both go down today! I am going to get this out early so I can get out early! Enjoy the night...
1) Windhoek White Rhinos (W) - Shhhhhhh, don't ever wake a sleeping Rhino! I swear I heard a laughing Tricon as drove through the outskirts of Boston.
2) GRiTs (W) - When is the last time a GRiTs QB threw more than 20 times let alone 38. The old veterans keep grinding away while the young players are stepping up...
3) Sons of Anubis (W) - Not very friendly in booting the Mounties from the Top 10. Starting to make some teams at the top nervous with their early season play.
4) Rhodesia Ratels (W) - Freedom Fighters battled, but in the end these pesky rodents did just enough to scratch and claw their way to victory. Let's see if the Ratels can hang in the Top 4 for a while.
5) Swaziland Dachshunds (L) - I did not see this loss coming, but I am sure the ever confident Hays had a post in his own forum stating that victory would be theirs. Dachshunds will come back to unleash hell on their next opponent but letting up 30 points is something not seen in these parts for some time.
6) District 9 Prawns (L) - Matchup didn't really materialize into anything more than a jog in the park for WWR as they flex their muscles with 298 rushing yards and a 21-24 performance in the passing game. You can change the name but the results are the same. I swear I saw a laptop come crashing out a window in the vicinity of PP today.
7) Pirgos Warlords (W) - Bounced back nicely and showed they belong in the Top 10 with a solid victory over the Kickin Djibouti. A tough matchup with the Rodent Ratels is on deck, bring your band-aids because they fight dirty...
8) Sahara Storm (W) - Welcome to the Top 10, can't really justify having the Warlords ahead of you so nice leap to number 8.
9) Somalia Warlords (W) - Punk keeps the team going forward as only a 3 point loss keeps this team from a higher ranking.
10) Carthage Clash (W) - Very nice win today, let's see how long you can hang with the elite!
Teams being Evicted:
7) Kickin Djibouti (L) - At a loss, this team was 4 points away from going to the WPL and now has suffered back to back losses. Very surprising to say the least, but do not sleep on this team!
9) Uganda Mounties (L) - I said not to unpack as your visit might be short, now get your bags and please go back to the servant quarters as there is no room on the penthouse floor for you.
